Panda Pau Cry Mar 29, 2014

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Multi-Concept | Kids-Friendly

After a fun fun trip at the River Safari,  I decided to settle down in this restaurant to have their signature must eat panda pao.

I was really super tiring to dine-in here as before you able to enjoy the food, you need to join in the long queue to place your order.  Took me around 25mins of queue before I managed to grab these cute little buns.

2 flavours are available, which includes the chocolate custard and red bean, which both selling at $2.90 each.  The pau texture is firm and soft, but i suppose it is not thick and not much filling can be found inside.  Red bean paste was alright but too sweet.  The chocolate custard taste more towards the chocolate flavour and I cannot really taste the custard flavour at all.

Restaurant was quite warm as too crowded and squeezy.  Service was fast and friendly.

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

This sushi set A is my favourite japanese meal when comes to cheap and delicious! The shop is clean and with trendy layout and furnishing, that will be able to attract the younger group of customers.

Service was friendly and fast.  Among the sushi in this sets, there are 3 sushi which are my favourite.  Kappa maki which is the cucumber maki is filled with super fresh cucumber that is crunchy and sweet.  Ebi Nigiri, which is the cooked shrimp sushi has fresh and crunchy prawns that is simple and yet easy to eat.  Tamagoyaki, which is the fried egg sushi has really thick slices of fresh soft egg omelette that is quite filling and the added seaweed make it looks more appearance as well.

For the price of $3.50 for such a generous portion and choices of sushi in it, is a must buy for me.

Categories : Food Court

After having my breakfast kway teow which I have bought from another stall in this coffee shop, I have decided to grab a cup of this traditional coffee from this beverages stall.

I have ordered from the uncle who walked around to take order a cup of coffee.  In less than 3 minutes he brought it to my table.  Before I drink it, I already can smell the nice and strong coffee aroma from it.  The coffee is brewed tilll really fragrant and generous amount of condensed milk has been added in it.  The portion is generous and at the price of $1.10 per cup, is cheap and good!

The service is fast and friendly, and dining environment is alright and spacious.

Cheong Luk OK Mar 29, 2014

Dining in this coffee shop is quite comfortable as irregardless of outdoor or indoor dining area, both are equally spacious and many ceiling fans are installed on the ceiling to reduce the warm dining environment experience.

I have bought the economic kway teow from this stall.  Many dishes are available here and there are really so many dishes for you to choose that which really impress me. The counter men helpers are not extremely friendly nor rude, just expressionless service, straight to the point and prompt when handing the food to me.

Have bought it at $3.00 which is consider reasonable by looking at its generous portion.  Kway teow is fragrant but was abit oily. The stir fried cabbage was delightfully delicious, crunchy and fresh.  THe noah hiang (meatroll) may not have much minced meat inside, but the combination ingredients inside really blends well together, especially the spring onion make it really fragrant.

Sweet Talk OK Mar 29, 2014

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

This bubble tea shop has always been my 'long term' friend in terms of when I am thirsty, it will aways be there to save from your thirst.

This stall is quite big in size and the counter lady was really not friendly and look fiere.  Bought the iced chendol drink at only $1.50, which is consider very cheap and affordable.  The drink is filled with lots of brown sugar taste that is fragrant, but also at the same time very sweet.

Generous amount of green chewy jelly and also smooth cooked red bean are also added in it which make it very delicious.  Would come back again to try other drinks since the price here is very reasonable.
Iced Chendol $2.50
