This stall is the best kway chup that I ever tried. At first hearing their name,i thought it was boon tong kee chicken rice but after that then realize there's no link at all. Their kway chup is cheap and nice, like this only cost $3.50.

The soup have a mild herbal taste, then their 3 layer meat was very soft and tender, I like it with their thick sauce. This stall always very long queue, so waiting time sometimes can take about 30mins long.

I was craving for dim sum, so recently keep having dim sum for lunch. We went around 2.10pm, then the auntie standing outside told us that if we want dim sum, will only start from 2.30pm.

So we waited outside, the auntie was nice and let us in around 2.20pm, but the waitress said this promotion start at 2.30pm, so we must still need to wait till 2.30pm to order it huffy

I had ha kau 2piece X2 for $4.25. Their ha kau was normal, skin was dry, so it get torn easily. Siew mai 2 piece for $1.95 which tasted just so so. Their liu sa bun usually I go other places eat was plain colour but this was in orange colour, the egg yolk taste was not strong enough.

I like their gui hua cake, a plate cost $1.70 which is considered cheap, not very sweet, but quite QQ. But I find that their mayo sauce was quite weird, total damage cost $27.40.

Also, we asked for plain water, we didn't know that normal ice water they will charge 30 cents per cup, staff should inform that water need to pay, because I'd rather pay 50 cents for a cup of tea instead of 30 cents for plain water.

This stall is just near SPH, always has a long queue when I go. For dining there, they will give you free flow of soup. It is mostly self service, but usually I will take away. I almost tried finish all their food,my favourite was their chicken rice, not bad, chicken quite tender.

But I would recommend you to go for their white chicken even though usually I would order the roasted chicken and it doesn't come with chicken skin. Their roasted meat was very crispy too, but i think they add in too much flour, so after eating quite a bit I feel a bit sick of it. The price range normal $3 onwards.

The Marshmallow Tree  Smile Aug 12, 2013

This is a new cafe which just opened last month. They don't have menu book, it's all on the board. I had their earl grey tea latte for $4.50, now with every cup of tea,can get a free roasted marshmallow, which they roasted till just nice and served it with a small pot. It is quite creative of them.

The earl grey tea was nice, not very sweet and very refreshing. Their smores is another that I recommend, it come with normal biscuit or oreo , marshmallow in the middle and whipped cream on top, this dish is considered a bit expensive.

Another must try is their waffles, they baked till very crispy and not oily, for ice cream I had salted caramel, this place is a good place for relaxing, hanging out with friends. The service was great too!

Just note that some of the food I find is a bit expensive.

I came here for lunch today. I had Softshell Crab Rice, the last time I had this for only $9++ but this time price increased to $12++. But still tasted very nice, seafood tom yam soup was very spicy but not bad. I also had their tapicoca dessert which i forgot to take picture of, highly recommend that.

Today is Hari Raya, I thought there will be a long queue, but there's no queue at all, waiting time was very fast! Overall, I spent $52+ for 2 people.
