Time for a soupy lunch. After looking through their list of soups, I have decided to go with the snow pear with pork ribs soup. This bowl of soup is full of flavours from the snow pear as well as the pork rib which certainly means that this soup has been simmered for several hours. I personally think that the soup is slightly sweeter than the other soup stall that I have tried. Maybe it's because of te sweetness from the snow pear itself. The pork ribs have a soft and tender texture and the dark soy sauce with small chili is a must when eating the pork ribs. Overall, quite a tasty and refreshing soup and will be back to try out the other variety of soup.

This kiosk offers a variety of gelato which is divided into the classic, as well as the premium flavour. It is also having a 1 for 1 promotion for the cup version. I have chosen the classic version which is the salted caramel and the vanilla oreo flavour. For the salted caramel flavour, the sweetness is just nice, not too salty as well. As for the vanilla oreo, it has a light hint of vanilla taste and there were mini bits of oreo in it. Sweetness wise is slightly sweeter than the salted caramel flavour. With the price at $7.50 for 2 medium cups with  flavours, it is definitely worth a try !! 

Brought a Very Berry Deluxe cake from Glace Patisserie in celebration of my mother's birthday. Design wise is quite appealing with the various berries decoration on the top of the cake as well as the ribbon on the side. The cake is formed by two layers of sponge cake with strawberry chunk with cream in between. Texture wise is soft and spongy and has a nice aroma. A total of 3 different types of berries is used which include strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. The berries were very fresh and it goes very well with the sponge cake. 
Will definitely recommend to my friends !! 

With the gaining popularity in pet cafe in Singapore, I have decided to patronise one of the recommended cafe which is Happenstance cafe. This cafe is actually a dog friendly cafe whereby customers are allow to bring their dog along. 

As for their menu, it also offers menu for the pet if I'm not wrong. Apart from that, it also allow customer to create their own unique pasta from choosing the sauce, side dishes and type of cheese. I have created the pesto with capsicum, beans and mozzarella cheese pasta. The pasta itself is nicely cooked, not too dry. The pesto sauce goes very well with the pasta as well as the cheese. Lastly, the presentation is also very appealing. Apart from the main dish, I have also ordered the americano coffee which I think is well brewed and has a nice aroma. 

Overall quite a good experience at this cafe. Will recommend to all people with their pets !! 

Curry puff!! When mentioning curry puff, old chang kee will be the one that will come to my mind first as I usually brought it from them. However, this time round as I am shopping around the ang mo kio area, I have managed to spot this famous curry puff stall and decided to buy some and try it. First of all, the curry puff is well deep fried, have a very nice golden brown colour and there is not sign of any oil. As for the fillings, the potato is well seasoned with a mild turmeric flavour, have a slightly spicy taste as compared to old chang kee and also have a quarter sliced of the hard-boiled egg in it. Lastly, the size of the curry puff is much smaller as compared to old chang kee but it still retains a crispy crust even after leaving for an hour after buying it.
