I was nice, crispy waffles with strong cheesy taste in it!I like it when i was served hot! Due to the cheese, it actually add creaminess to my waffles too, it was soft and every bites make you feel like you want more! The queue wasn't long when you are went around 2-3pm in the afternoon! smile

Well, if you ever walked pass this store, you will see the queue first before you get to see the signboard. Their operating hours are from 7.30am to 3pm.
what makes it so special? is their fishcake! It was low in cholesterol as state and never doubt that it was handmade. I never forever the taste and texture. Rough skin and soft inside. I was not as bad as I thought (I thought healthy food is always awful)! Another point that beats other is the peanuts you will find every bowl of noodles. I love it! chopstick There is also a variety of noodles you can choose from. I ordered the mee giak, which is more preferred than mee pok! Both are $2.50 each.
Be prepare to wait for 20 minutes!

Yamazaki!  Smile Jun 26, 2013

My first time trying Yamazaki! The chocolate bread is so nice! I love the thick chocolate fillings and the soft bread. The texture was soft and non-porous which will make you full after having one. I actually stored in the fridge before I consumed it. So it actually melts on my mouth like a chocolate fountain. I like the glazing too; thick yummy chocolate. In Chinese, it is called 里应外合 (li ying wai he), which means the combining the both for the best!

This will really make you feel happy and forget about all the troubles you had. Well, their queue long and I waited for 5 minutes before it was my turn. But I am glad that I waited for such nice buns!

The starbucks at Shaw towers Smile Jun 26, 2013

Located a distance away from Bugis MRT station, just about a 10 minutes walk. There is a Starbucks at Bugis Junction but it is "forever crowded and forever no-seat". This really makes a good Starbucks location at Bugis if you have cravings for Starbucks. Nice environment and quiet surrounding (as compare to Bugis Junction). The limited edition starbucks card is easily available here too! smile

Well, I spent my whole afternoon here to read a novel, perfect place and perfect atmosphere. I ordered a cup of Hojicha Tea Latte to accompany me and an Oreo cookies crumble to cease my hunger. I really love this cake so much,it is have a light cheesy and milky taste at the same times, the oreo cookies actually add the helps to add crunchiness to the cake. Prefect combination! But I think it was too expensive for a piece of cake at $6.50! sad

The hojicha was perfectly made, it helps to keep my body temperature warm for the whole afternoon there! smile

Mr Bean @ JEM  OK Jun 25, 2013
Categories : Desserts and Cakes

My dinner for tonight is Mr Bean! Well, this branch was very different from the other branches! It was considering one of their more "high end" branches. They do not have a menu that have set A to set E instead they will only tell you that there is discount for their pancake if they ordered in a set. On top of that, they only sell those premium flavor and new on market like satay, ham and cheese, apple custard, etc. Well, I didn't really like it, because they are flavours that we never tried before and some sound weird to me (like the satay flavour ; I don't like to have a savoury pancake, I preferred the sweet ones).
So in the end I ordered, caramel custard pancake and soya bean which costs $2.80 in total. The taste of caramel pancake was nice and sweet however, I think that this stall didn't really add a lot of filling to it, 70% are pancake! sad Such disappointment! On the top of that, their soya bean was too sweet as compare to other Mr Bean outlets.
