I love and missed the cold noodles. They have it like 5 years ago or something. It is very thin and white noodles. The soup is clear and brown. I think it is miso soup. In the soup there is some seaweed. The noodles are very Q and the soup is very refreshing. However, I think the serving is a little too small.

I have no idea why they do not sell this noodles any more. Every time I would looks out for it when I go to Sakae. It is great to eat on hot days.

I kind of like these doughnuts. There are many different flavours. I like the custard flavour and chocolate flavour. I do not like the red bean flavour. I think it tastes better when toasted in the oven for a few minutes. The doughnut is not very hard. It is actually pretty soft.

I think because they are selling these in Singapore, some of their doughnuts are in the shape of a merlion. The other shapes are a little boring. Some are in rings and some are in balls.

This is a must try! Every time I go Takashimaya, I would buy one and take away more. I remember eating this when I was a kid and staying at the nearby Mandarin Hotel.

I always order the Omelette Modanyaki although the others are good too. The noodles are wrapped in the egg omelette. The noodles have meat I think it is chicken meat, cabbage and sometimes, ginger. They also put mayonnaise in it. I love it with the mayonnaise and always ask for more.

They will squeeze tomato sauce on it and you can ask them not to put it.

I really hope they open more outlets.

I don’t really like their fish. I think that it is a little dry and the skin is a little too thick. The fish portions are quite small too. The fish has a little fishy taste. I think it will taste better with a little mayonnaise.

The fries are pretty average and it tastes like any fries you get at hawker western food stores. It is not too salty. The bread is a little too oil although it is very soft.

I love the coleslaw and the BBQ chicken.

The BBQ chicken is very tender and the chicken is cooked very nicely. There is no blood inside and everything. The chicken skin is very sweet.

The rice this time is very bad. The rice is too soft today. The sauce that covers the rice is a little too plain.

The coleslaw is the best and it doesn’t taste like rubber. It is very fresh and sweet.

I recommend having this set. It is quite worth it too.
