Heard of this place for a long time.
Wanted to try some thai food from this place and hopeto see pornsak,
Was at Thailand some time back and hopefully to find food just like in thailand.

Let try this place.
Seafood Tom Yam Soup. A big pot more than enough for two person. Taste. Spicy, sour and have prawns, squid, shell fish and crab. Cost $12.90.
The rest of the dish we had is almost the same as you find in other Thai Resturant.
Still like the best is the seafood tom yam soup.
My fren is lucky enough to take a photo of one of the mediacorp DJ. Wish Pornsak was there.,,,, Maybe will come again to see he there.....

Been to this place alot of time. And is my 1st review.
The Chicken is fresh and cold, which the meat soft and tender.
The rice is fragrant and tasty, not oily at all.
They provide free flow of achar and they even give their homecook soup.
The homecook soup will always change from day to day.
The Salted Fish Beansprouts we order is also best. They fresh, crunchy and taste nice.
Overall if you go there is for the chicken. Their standard of the meat is always there.
Must go for more visit to this place ...

Hainanese Village, there is two stalls that sell kway Chap. But this stall is still the best at Hainanese village.
This morning I went to this stall to buy it.
Noted that during the weekday, the waiting time for your order is abt 30min.
Come weekend, your waiting will be 45min.
One thing you will notice is that there is no Q but the waiting time is long.
Cos they will take your order, ask for your table number and you can go back to your seat and wait.
They will serve you. That why you dont see any Q at the stall.

come my meal. Like abt this stall is that their Flat Rice Noodle is so smooth and soft. Taste really great.
Next, you will try their pig's intestines. Nice. You dont really taste or smell the pig organ. Meaning that they have wash it clean.
For 1 person eating, they have a set meal at $2.30. Cheap ?? Yes.....
No wonder you need to wait for 30min on a weekday. Good Kway Chap mah..

My second review for this stall of wanton mee.
Today I try their Soya Sauce Wanton Mee. The Last time I had the Ketchup Wanton Mee.
The taste of the mee in soya sauce have the same taste for the noodle. So don't have to worry it will taste different.
Like the texture of the noodle. The sauce is great. The char siew is great also.
For the soup, same as I mention. Great.
You will not feel boring or tired from eating the wanton mee at this stall.
So come over to Hougang Haninanese Market. But not on Sunday as they are closed.

Hello Folks....Or Wanton Mee Lover.
Had my late lunch yesterday at hougang ave 1. Decide to try the wanton mee as many people say during lunch time and on weekend Sat (They closed on Sunday) that there will be long Q to order their wanton mee.
Just my luck as I having a late lunch.
So I order. To my surprise, they still sell at $2.50 to $3.00 for a bowl of wanton mee.
I order the chilli and tomato sauce try as they have other try.
I waited abt 15min for my wanton mee.
The taste of the mee, not too hard or soft or ticky. Tender taste on the mee.
If you looking for a light lunch, the small plate will be just nice.
The char siew is sweet and tender.
Soup taste nice with the pepper taste.
If you eat there, they will bring your order to you. Not self service wor.
If you speak cantonese, you can speak to the two ladies , you can joke with them and they are also polite.
So for those who like to try this stall that sell Hainanese Wanton Mee, Give it a try....... :
The price is cheap also...............
