Okay Chicken Rice Stall OK Oct 17, 2012
Categories : Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

Notice that this stall at Golden Shoe Food Centre has a long Q during lunch time. So I decided to give it a try.
Order the roasted meat rice.
At the stall you can notice that chicken look nice but want to try the roasted meat first. Maybe will come back for the chicken rice.
Now back to the roasted meat, the meat taste juicy and tender and the skin of the roasted meat is cripy.
Like it so much.
But the bad point is their rice. Cook of the rice is soft and sticky. Not really the chicken rice you get from other stall.
Overall the service is good as they will apolgise to you for the waiting time.

At City Square Mall for some shopping in the evening, went up to the top floor food court and it in renovation. Will open in Oct. Then went to the basement food court and it also under renovation.
Then came across this stall. EAT. Selling handmake fishball noodles.
Decided to order their handmkae dumlping kueh teow soup.
Cost $5.30 for the big bowl with extra dumlping.
Like the soup base. Not too much MSG added in.
Order was fast. Within 10min your food is ready.
Don't know how the other outlet is like.
Same taste ? Same protion ? shocked shocked shocked

After our dinner, we passby the shop, look like newly open as they still hung a red cloth over the stall signage.
There is only a few table s inside for you to sit, guess must be good as they may like to limit the customer to eat in the place.
Anyway if you speak cantonese, the stall uncle can explain the dessert they sell there.
We order the Gui Ling Guo at $3.40 and Yam Paste at $2.90
The pricing of the dessert is reasonable.
Gui Ling Guo come with a bottle of wine but is sugar syrup inside. Taste of it, they dont have that strong taste of the chinese herbs which is just nice as some people will not like to strong taste of the herbs.
The Yam Paste is so smooth and silky, I like it the best. Not very sweet, good if you dont like to taste too much sweetness. The yam paste taste and smell nice. The bowl is not very big but is worth it.
Let go for more.

Been to this place alot of time. And is my 1st review.
The Chicken is fresh and cold, which the meat soft and tender.
The rice is fragrant and tasty, not oily at all.
They provide free flow of achar and they even give their homecook soup.
The homecook soup will always change from day to day.
The Salted Fish Beansprouts we order is also best. They fresh, crunchy and taste nice.
Overall if you go there is for the chicken. Their standard of the meat is always there.
Must go for more visit to this place ...
