After our dinner, we passby the shop, look like newly open as they still hung a red cloth over the stall signage.
There is only a few table s inside for you to sit, guess must be good as they may like to limit the customer to eat in the place.
Anyway if you speak cantonese, the stall uncle can explain the dessert they sell there.
We order the Gui Ling Guo at $3.40 and Yam Paste at $2.90
The pricing of the dessert is reasonable.
Gui Ling Guo come with a bottle of wine but is sugar syrup inside. Taste of it, they dont have that strong taste of the chinese herbs which is just nice as some people will not like to strong taste of the herbs.
The Yam Paste is so smooth and silky, I like it the best. Not very sweet, good if you dont like to taste too much sweetness. The yam paste taste and smell nice. The bowl is not very big but is worth it.
Let go for more.

Hi..Openricer. At Sentosa to try the malaysian food street again. This time round was early but still you can find alot of people over there all time. smile
As this is my second time there, decide to try different dishes. smile smile
But first need to find a good seating place. shocked
Next I decided to Q at this stall. Malacca Chicken Rice Ball. Not rice but they make it to a ball. Just like fish ball.
Cost of the chicken rice set $4. come with chicken meat, soup and five chicken rice balls. lol
The chicken meat they steam is not the same as the one you find at food court or hawker centre.
Normally you get white skin, but this their skin is yellow. Making it sweet. The meat is tender. not dry at all. tongue
The rice balls. Very Sticky. But small. The taste is nice but U need to add with the chicken sauce. Guess you are at sentosa, foods here is expensive. mad mad
Must go to malacca one day to try their chicken rice balls and compare.
Overall. Good Chicken meat and rice ball. smile smile smile

Great Coffee at HDB Food Centre Smile Aug 27, 2012

You never miss this stall, as you will notice long Q forming every minutes. You will tot that they are selling cook food but no....they are selling drink and coffee/tea.
Everytime I there for my breakfast. I will head to this stall.
For 70cents you will have a small cup and for 80cents you have a big cup just like the one you get in coffee shop.
The quality of the coffee and fight with those you find in Toastbox,Ya Kun or Killney Kopitiam.
You can smell the aroma of the coffee once the coffee is serve. they add just nice the condensed milk and evaporated milk also which make the coffee taste nice.
As for the steam bread, they should use a thicker bread for it. So it won't make bread taste like waterly.
Overall: Good Coffee for a place like this, you must try it .......... smile smile smile

Nasi Lemak at RWS OK Aug 21, 2012

bowl chopstick
Friday night at Malaysian Food Street, at around 9pm. And they sold out their normal nasi lemak but no choice I order their nasi lemak with beef rendang.
Come my meal. The portion they give is alot.
Traditionally, to go with your lemak is coconut rice, their rice just got abit of the coconut taste.
Next, you will need to have crunchy fried anchovies (ikan bilis) which they have.
An egg, which they have also. Cucumber and sambal.
And you mixed all together, your nasi lemak with beef rendang is prefect.
Like their beef rendang much more than their rice.
Overall; Good to try their beef rendang. Next time to come early for their chicken.
