Hokkien Mie :D Smile Oct 29, 2011
Categories : Noodles

The hokkien mie is too watery in my opinion. However the composition between each of the ingredients cover it up. The chilli is so shiok. It is a good choice between the seafood in the noodle. The pork lard is so crunchy and savoury. Ne noodles again are limp and soft and the sauce is pale and it has got bits of eggs in it.

First Rojak Stall This Year Smile Oct 29, 2011

The potatoes are satisfying and when it is combined with the gravy. It was something so simple but yet so delicious. The potatoes are specially selected and have to be parboiled before frying.

Ordered the crispy prawn fritters. They are really crunchy and the umami flavours really stands out. It is almost no different from the Sakura Ebi that you can order from a Japanese Restaurant, only this one is much cheaper.

Teh Tarik AGAINN XD Smile Oct 29, 2011

Categories : Food Court

This Teh Tarik certainly fulfills my criteria for a good Teh Tarik. It's the smooth and creamy tea and also the strong flavour that it flows through my throat so smoothly.

Tips:
You can ask for less sugar to be able to taste the tea well.

The Teh Halia is good too! Nice warm gingery taste that rolls down your throat.
Love them all.

Ipoh Hof Fun Smile Oct 29, 2011

It has cosy ambience atmosphere and I enjoyed their Ipoh Hor Fun and gourmet Dumpling. Ho G3 has done a great job preserving and modernizing his family business. It is heartening to hear stories of next generations preserving food family business.

No msg, low salt and less saturated fats have become their selling key,

Best Curry Puff Smile Oct 29, 2011
Categories : Singaporean

I ate this by chance as I was servicing my phone and had the time to visit this stall selling curry puff. I ordered the Epok Epok (Malay word for Curry Puff). Personally I like the malay version because the crust is thin and crispy, so you can afford to eat a few and not fell to "jialat". Best when enjoy with sambal tumis. Add on a hot cup of teh tarik and its kok kok kali-pok!!~
