boneless chicken breast Smile Jan 02, 2012

Categories : Korean

normally i am quite skeptical about korean food because I do not like kimchi but this korean snack store is actually quite nice. i ordered the boneless chicken breast and i thought the staff will just chop it up and serve me immediately, instead they reheat the meat by throwing it back to the hot oil for second round of frying. i did not add any chili powder because i scared it would be too spicy for me and i think i made the right choice because i can taste the natural marinate from the meat. the meat is still tender and surprisingly the batter was not too thick and gross and i actually kind of like it

aglio oilo  OK Jan 02, 2012

Categories : Bakery | Desserts and Cakes

my favourite dish from bakerzin is definitely the bacon and ham aglio oilo. i first tried this dish when i ordered the meal box set and since then it is the dish that i will always eat. as usual the pasta is quite oily because it was stir fry in oil but i think it bring out the meat flavour even more.
however, there is one serious thing that this outlet need to improve on is the manpower. i always had to wait very long before the waitress took notice of me and ask me to wait outside while they clear the table. this outlet has quite good business especially on weekend and i only saw about 3 waiter/waitress in the store running around so naturally we had to wait very long before we can be served

steam rice OK Jan 02, 2012
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

was first introduced to this restaurant by my friends several years ago when we looking for dinner place after we came back from sentosa. i think the most attractive and nicest food of this restaurant is the steam/ "bake" pork chop rice. contrary to the normal baked rice, the "bake" rice they serve was made via steaming so when i first saw the dish i was like so shock and the taste was still great!

sausage prata OK Jan 02, 2012

not a great fan of prata but i think the concept of using prata as a wrap is still interesting to me. the good thing about this store is that there are variety of sausages to choose from and personally i only like the chicken cheese sausage.
another bonus point about this store is they always prepare "fresh" meaning they will heat up the sausage and prata when you ordered so you will not be eating cold food

karage set OK Jan 02, 2012
Categories : Japanese

revisit this store recently and ordered the karage set to try because i felt the karage tasted best from the mix fried set. the karage was fried to perfection and was piping hot when the waitress served me the dish but i felt this time the chicken was too salty and too oily. as for the sesame sauce which i do not know was meant for the salad or dipping sauce for karage, it just tasted so nice. but i felt the price was a little steep for the sets so that is one of the down side
