My friend and I were drawn to this shop by the flyer given by their staff. Initially it looked pretty reasonable, but when we got in, we found out that everything needed to add money like the soup base. so we stuck to the free soup base. it was really bland, not for drinking, just for cooking. there was a time limit to eat as well. the only thing good was the meats were free flow and the sliced pork is really good, very thinly sliced and very chewy.

I wanted to have a dim sum breakfast but when I woke up, it was already lunch time. By the time i made my way to Kopitiam, there was not much choices of dim sum left so i settled for the lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice. it was really good. the gravy from the filling seep out into the glutinous rice making it taste really tasty. the soft and chewy glutinous rice was such a joy to eat. the filling is also really very tasty. it was very filling.

I really enjoy pizza huts drumlets. so when i went there for dinner with my friends, i just ordered ten pieces of the sweet n spicy drumlets and ate it for my main course. the sauce they marinate the chicken drumlet is so tasty, it is not too sweet nor is it too salty or spicy. the marinate somehow infuse into the chicken so every bite you take it is so tasty. the chicken is just so tender and juicy, a pleasure to eat it.

Green Milk Tea Smile Aug 25, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I am an avid bubble tea fan. I practically drink bubble tea almost everyday. so when i headed to Koi to satisfy my daily dose of bubble tea, i was quite shocked to find that my favourite green milk tea has increased in price to $2.80. i remember it used to be only $2.40. Nevertheless, the temptation of the bubble tea sort of overweight the price hike so i got myself a cup. i ordered 50% sweetness and it was just right for me. I found their 25% a little bland so for Koi i will order my drinks in 50%. i guess you pay more for really premium tea leaves and delicious drinks.

Black Musashi Smile Aug 25, 2013

I was craving for those authentic Japanese Ramen so I headed to Menya Musashi to satisfy that craving of mine. I ordered their Black Musashi Ramen, they also have it in Red and White. I ordered their Cha Shu Ramen. It was really delicious. the soup was just to die for, it was thick and very rich in flavours. It made you wanna drink mouth after mouth. The ramen itself was so awesome, it was springy and chewy and most importantly it does not stick to your teeth. The cha shu was very tasty, having to absorb all the soup.

Spending per head: Approximately $15
