I recently picked up an egg tart when I had visited City Square mall. Infact the egg tarts in display looked very apealling,which is why i decided to pick up 1. It was reasonably cheap, about 1.5 $ each. But when I ate it It was good to taste, it was mildly sweet & yummy. However, there was not much egg filling in the tart. The tart was like a biscuit. It would have been nicer, if the filling was more. Over all I enjoyed it.. I have tried the double chocolate egg tart before & like it better than the normal egg tart.

We had gone for a spa treatment one saturday afternoon. Our appointment was at 1 PM. After the massage which took 1 hour, we were terribly hungry, but since we were meeting some friends for lunch, we decided to grab a quick snack before meeting our friends. We went into Park Lane mall & picked up 2 chicken spring rolls from Isle Eating house. The spring roll had a nice filling. It had chicken, cabbage, carrots. It was crispy from the outside & tasted Ok. I couldn't finish mine since I found it tooo oily, but my hubby enjoyed them. The Spring rolls costed just 1$ each. We noticed that Isle Eating house has alot of snacks & sweets,than food. They have curry puffs, fish balls on skewers & alot of deep fried stuff. They also have some appealing & colorful sweets,which we would like to try next time .

I recently had gone to Concorde Hotel for the Body Shop sale there & was thirsty, so decided to buy myself a tea. So I stopped at OK tea & bought a Green Oolong tea with pearls. The sugar level was 25%. The tea was a bit too strong & the pearls weren't all chewy. But the tea was pretty refreshing. I would enjoy it better if it wasn't so strong & the pearls a little more chewy. OK tea is just OK. IT costed about 2 $.

We have been to Namaste India a couple of times before & visited again since we love the veg food at Namaste India. We went there pretty late in the evening at around 10:30PM, hence very few people were dining there. I ordered for a fresh lime soda (sweet & Salty). It was quite refreshing ,perfect to beat the heat in Singapore. Then I ordered for pani poori,which is a famous Indian snack. Hard wafer like bread,is filling with potato,chick peas,spices & tamrind water. It's so addictive that I couldn't stop eating it,that I ended up ordering for 2 rounds. Its a hot & sweet dish. Finally I ordered for Vanilla ice cream with a Gulab jamun. Gulab Jamun is a deep fried flour ball,soaked in sugar syrup. The combination of vanilla ice cream & Gulab Jamun was simply awesome. The food at Namaste India,though Veg is really tasty & I would recommend this restaurant in case you would like to try out some Indian veg food. I loved the light veg meal that night.

I had won some Emicakes vouchers from an FB father's day contest, 2 months back. One day when we were in Clementi, we decided to head to Emicakes & try out their cakes. This is the first time we visited emicakes & we were so amazed with their range of mini cakes, so we picked up an assortment of a few mini cakes. The totally chocolate was indeed totally chocolate, it was chocolaty,creamy & rich. The mini oreomissu, had a lovely oreo base & a yummy cream cheese filling. The mini ultimate brownie was utterly chocolaty & was topped with a piece of brownie & bits of brownies inside. The mocha mousse was yummy mildly coffee flavoured mousse. We also tried a strawberry mouse which had a mild strawberry flavour & was yum I loved all the mini's & can't decide which was better . The pictures are not so appealing since we brought them home & they melted on the way. The mini's at Emicakes are really cheap 1.5-2$ each.
