Me and my hubby were truly fortunate to be invited to The Manhattan's 10th Birthday Bash which was held at their outlet at Star Vista. They served a generous amount of dishes and everything tasted awesome and delicious.
Salmon Chowder
The Salmon Chowder was thick, creamy and delicious with bits of salmon in it and best of all it was served hot just the way I love it!
Chipotte Fish Skewers
The Chipotte Fish Skewers were done to perfection and had a glaze of honey on it and best of all it had a yummy salad with dressing that went really well with the skewers.
Stewed Tomato Mussels
The Stewed Tomato Mussels were very delicious and the gravy was tangy and had a lovely flavour and the texture was thick and the mussels were very fleshy.
Spicy Baked Fish
The main course was Spicy Baked Fish and Seafood Sea-esta. I chose the Spicy Baked Fish while my hubby chose the Seafood Sea-esta which had to be eaten with a garlic herb Baguette. The Spicy seafood was nice and spicy and the flesh on the fish was cooked very well and the rice had a nice flavor and it went very well with the fish and the veggies. Thumbs up to that dish.
Seafood Sea-esta with Garlic Herb Bagutte
Seafood Sea-esta was simply great and it had a bit of a Tangy flavour and tasted yummy. Hubby said he was lucky he chose that dish since he truly enjoyed it. The mussels and the fish were cooked very well and tasted great. The broth was nice and hot and the baguettes which were crispy went well with that dish.
Creamy Pasta
The creamy pasta was delicious too although I didn't eat much of it.
Flamming King Prawns Platter.
They say "you save the best for the last" and yes, Flamming King Prawns Platter turned out to be the best of all. The waiters flamed the dish just before serving it to us. We watched how they were doing the flaming and enjoyed it! This dish was totally yummy and the prawns were very delicious and so were the chips and fish and everything else that came along with that dish.
The Birthday Cake
After the birthday cake was cut it was served to all the guests and yes the cake was good too. The cream and the chocolate were both yummy.
They even served two flavors of ice cream but we were too full to eat it. The Manhattan Fish Market really went out of the way to make their 10th anniversary a total success. The food was generously served.
