Tanglin Halt Dessert OK Jun 18, 2012
Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

madLocated at the old Tanglin Halt Food Centre behind Commonwealth MRT station, Shun Xing Qing Tina Desserts has the cheapest desserts in Singapore.

Common desserts like chendol, ice kachang, ice jelly, green bean soup, sweet potato soup etc. cost only 80 cents. If you prefer something more delightful, you can try dessert combinations e.g. ice jelly with cocktail, ice cocktail with sea coconut, ice cocktail with nata de coco etc. at only $1.

After a sumptuous lunch at Tanglin Halt Food Centre, a bowl of refreshing Shun Xing Qing Tian dessert is certainly thirst-quenching.

Ma La Hot Pot OK Jun 14, 2012
Categories : Sichuan | Food Court | Steamboat/Hot Pot

Super hot dish that can blow fire from your mouth, nose & ear! Just a gentle reminder for those who are not train to take super spicy food. The dish itself can be tasty provided you don't mind it to be super spicy or do what I suggested - request for less chilli & black pepper to be included in your dishes! : )

nevertheless, it is an expensive choice in a food court

the imperial Bun OK Jun 14, 2012

I frequent this outlet a lot since I work nearby. The standard is always consistent and you can rely on the quality to be the same today, tomorrow and everyday, from one outlet to the next. Amazing organisation!

I like the uniforms for the girls too. Very neat and proper.

There's more a little bit more variety and variation at this store, but mostly everything is the same as the other stores.

There is always a variety to choose from, buns, rolls, cakes, sweet, savoury, etc... a bit overpriced for just bread/dough, but I guess no one comes close enough for them to compete on prices so prices stay high.

Pine Garden Cake OK Jun 14, 2012

Categories : Bakery | Desserts and Cakes

Although I was never a fan of cakes and pastry, this lychee martini cake from Pine Garden's Cakes at Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 left me with such a lasting impression that I wanted to return for more.

Topped with a fresh lychee, a piece of lychee martini cake, which is reasonably priced at $2.50, comes with smooth sponge cake layered with fragrant cream and filled with small lychee pieces coated with martini. What I enjoyed most about this lychee martini cake is its irresistible sweetness that leaves a lingering aftertaste on the taste buds.

Besides its famous lychee martini cake, Pine Garden also has many other specially created cakes eg brandy cherry cake, baileys chocolate crunch cake, mango passionfruit cake etc

Four Sea Hor Fun OK Jun 14, 2012
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

A plate of seafood hor fun which is very reasonably priced at $3.50, comes with prawns, sotong, lean meat, chicken, fish and egg. Can’t believe it, it is only $3.50.
What I love most is the irresistible gravy that is incredibly flavorful and yet not oily and goes very well with the well-fried hor fun with the wok hei fragrance. The ingredients are extremely fresh and tasty.

If you are craving for delicious seafood hor fun, hesitate no longer. Come down to Albert Centre Food Centre in Bugis and try it out.
