Yong Tau Foo Soup OK Dec 19, 2013
Categories : Food Court

For 7 pieces at $4.90, this Yong Tau Foo Stall really offer quite expensive food. Fortunately the standard of their foods was not too bad. Especially like their cut bitter gourd with fish paste which the fish paste is very fresh and chewy. The tau kee rolls are alright but not really that fragrant. The thick slice egg plants are soft and sweet. The soup base is filled with the soy bean fragrant but was abit too salty. Service was fast and friendly and the stall is clean and neat.

Mee Robus OK Dec 19, 2013

Had my lunch in this Punggol Nasi Padang outlet at Far East Plaza. Have bought a plate of mee robus to try. Priced at $4.00 was descently priced but the portion was abit too little. The peanut gravy was quite thin and tasteless. The noodles was cooked till the right texture and not too soggy but not much beansprouts can be found in this dish. Even the cut green chillis are also unable to bring out the fragrant to this dish. Restaurant is cooling and not too squeezy and the service was friendly.

Minced Pork Rice Rolls OK Dec 19, 2013

Sheng Kee Dessert always has a very wide range of desserts to choose from. However for me I prefer to have their minced pork rice rolls ($3.60) over their signature desserts. The rice rolls are very smooth and thin in texture. With the juicy minced pork meat which is cooked with dark sweet sauce that make it very flavourful and delicious. The combination was good and portion was quite alright as well. Service was fast but not really that friendly. Restaurant was quite squeezy and uncomfortable.

Chilli Crab with Man Tou OK Dec 19, 2013

Chilli Crabs from this seafood restaurant has always been my favourite dish from this restaurant. Usually I will come here with one of my good friend to have this dish together. For the price of nearly to $40, is quite expensive but fortunately the portion was not really that little. The chilli sweet gravy is thick and appetizing and the crabs have very soft and sweet meat and the shelves are not too difficult to be removed. We always like to mix the fried man tou into this dish as it will taste even better for us. Restaurant is very comfortable and spacious, service was quite friendly too.

Cheese Stick OK Dec 19, 2013

This Marche Bakery certainly has attracted my attention over their wide spread of golden brown bread and pastries over at their display counter. Restaurant looks really cosy and comfortable. Service was alright but nothing warm nor super friendly. Have bought their cheese stick at $1 per piece which is consider quite alright. The texture was really thick and abit hard as well. Cheese flavour was quite strong but alittle bit too salty. The portion was alright but could have taste it better with a softer texture and less saltiness.
