Value Jap Meal...Oishi!!  OK Jun 15, 2013

First time bringing my mum and my aunty to Jap restaurant for lunch…

The food might be highly localized, but at least it's decently yummy. Everyone knows a good deal, The set meals are highly popular with customers - It is really value for money…For less than $20 or even $15, you get a full set meal with an appetizer, miso soup, main course, sashimi and also a dessert…

So we ordered their set meal & some sushi…

My Mum super like their sushi as is Fresh and well-cut,!! No complain from her smile All were passable…

Just For Beef Hotplate Don…with plenty of tofu cubes, but their soup base really way too sweetness is like whole bottle of soya sauce adding in... Chawanmushi was delicious, is soft!!

Other set meal is excellent and the portion is big, Most importantly, everyone enjoying & love this restaurant… smile

Fried Chicken!! OK Jun 14, 2013

Today I'm writing 4 Fried Chicken review which I had it...

Since young, I have simply love the great finger tasting licking good original chicken pieces...I always make sure to finish off all the chicken skin which is cooked just so fragrantly and crispy... The taste is addictive and a nice cold cup of ice lemon tea is good companion, Of course not forgetting the coleslaw.

After trying other brands of Fried chicken...I'm sorry KFC, they are way too better! I haven't got the chance to try Jollibee though. shocked

Hidden Western Food :) OK Jun 13, 2013

My loved one graduated, so we went to this restaurant for celebration, visited the place on a Saturday night, and while my loved one and I were the only patrons when we sat down, the place filled up at an amazing rate not long after.

We were pleasantly surprised, that tucked in the corner of this quiet estate was a place with great ambience and excellent food!!

The meats (both the beef and the pork) are fresh and succulent and quite decently priced. It was really fantastic.

Overall, the price was a little steep for causal dinning but the quality of food was certainly worth the price! I do think this place is worth a visit.

Shabu...Shabu... OK Jun 13, 2013

My Friend and myself decided to try out what claims to be the only Shabu Shabu buffet in Singapore...The only Sakae outlet that come out with this Shabu Shabu Steamboat, A pity the sushi variety isn't alot...

We started with the chicken broth and were given an extensive list of ingredients to choose from...We chose a selection of seafood such as scallops on the half shell, clams, salmon fillets, thread fin fillets, squid and mussels on the half shell...
The seafood was mostly a real delight with the prawns being large and luscious, the salmon very sweet and the scallops succulent...

We also chose about 5 types of mushrooms, soft tofu, leeks and long cabbage. For meats, we ordered some chicken and beef shabu shabu slices, some tori kariage (deep fried chicken), ebi(prawn) tempura and chawanmushi (steamed egg) which all came complimentary with the buffet...

My Breakfast :) OK Jun 12, 2013

Mr Bean serves Soya Bean Drinks with its own unique take...

I'm tempted to have it for breakfast everyday; Tack on a cup of soya milk + Peanut pancake and you've got a beautiful start every morning. smile

Peanut pancake was tasty and hot, soya bean milk was pretty good, not overly sweet. You can choose to have your drinks warm or cold.

Pretty good deal for a drink and a pancake. Simple food.
