Have been frequenting this restaurant ever since hearing raves Abt it. I have tried it and yes! The pizza is really nice.

We ordered :

1) large pizza - diavola + pancetta
If u love pork and savory food, this must be your best bet!
Diavola has pork salami resting in a bed of cheese. Unlike other restaurant, they were certainly generous with their cheese and filling on the pizza.
Pancetta is my favourite. Will order this Everytime I come. Savoury Cured bacon served with tomato and soft boiled egg. The egg is a complement to this pizza. Fluffy and running yolk just melt in my mouth;)

2) carbonara
This is another must have in this restaurant. It is Served with generous smooth cream sauce.

3) rosticciana
Oven grilled herb marinated back ribs served with potato wedges. We never tried this before. So, we ordered. This dish is disappointing.
My 2 sisters love ribs. And they attacked this dish immediately when it's hot! However, not only is it not marinated, it is also not fresh as well. the ribs taste like it is being frozen for many days and was not thawed completely when it was taken to cook. It totally spoil the taste. The potato wedges was still okay.

4) Deep fried chicken wings
I love deep fried chicken wings. The wings is crispy and served hot. However, it still not the best that I have eaten. It is just average ;) plus side is that it is not too small.

Food is good, But wait staff is rude. Hope the management do something to that.

Lot1 KFC always seems to have off their air con. It is always so hot and stuffy eating at cck KFC!!

I like KFC porridge.The porridge is tasty. But last time it seems better. I feel that the fried chicken dices was not evenly distributed. Sometimes my mum have more, and I have lesser chicken dices ;( The original wrap is delicious as well. But same thing, the ingredient issue. Don't think that it has evenly distributed. As sometimes it has more tomato or more egg more than the chicken dices.

Went to 100am - Amara hotel for the chicken ramen. My sister loves the ramen from this store;)

Chicken drumlet with different soup base - chicken, black pepper, wasabi. Served with complimentary free flow of eggs and beansprouts ;)

Definitely appetising for big eater like me;)

The queue was shorter over here as compared to the outlet besides orchid hotel. Thus, didnt really eat in a " being chased off" Feeling. However, staff was similarly rude and not smiling. Seating arrangement is also wider n more comfortable than the one besides orchid hotel.

I order the green spicy tori king ramen. I personally prefer this. It is more flavourful and savoury. Wasabi is not overpowering but flavourful Those who likes stronger taste, can order this. And I added the beansprouts. Beansprouts has Abit spicy taste and crunchy. The eggs was good as well - white eggs are also found here.
The drumlet is juicy;) and has alot of meat;) it is quite big in portion;) Grilled chicken drumlet is well marinated.

My boyfriend together with my younger sis ordered the original Tori King Ramen. Original ramen has the chicken broth.
Btw, you can choose the texture of the noodles, soup oil, other ingredients (such as spring onion etc) and also flavour The grilled chicken steals the show My elder sis ordered the black spicy (black pepper) Tori King ramen. Didnt have the photo It is not very spicy. Even though she tick no oil for the soup base, it always have a layer of oil.

Dropped by Asia square tower food court for lunch yesterday.

The food court was always crowded during lunch. Snatching a seat is pretty difficult. Anyway, we decided to place order at Aston express.

The queue is long. Menu is the same as the rest of the outlet except that it is cheaper than Aston specialities.

If u order a main, you can select 2 side dishes.

I order black pepper chicken and selected potato wedges and salad potato as side. The quantity given differs from time to time. I love the black pepper sauce and will usually ask for more. The chicken is tender and juicy.

That's a definitely a steal - for the price of $6.55 !

First time try this reataurant. It is located near ntuc learning hub, under housing blks. There are two sections - non air con and air con.

We reached at Ard 5 smthing close to 6pm, we were the first customer. We actually wanted to order the $98 set menu. But they say they dont have that, and insisted only have the mother's day set menu;( that is not very customer orientated
;( We order the Mother's Day set menu for 4 pax @$168.

1) smoked duck w scallop mango salad
The smoked duck was supposed to be black pepper flavour. But the black pepper taste is nowhere to be found. this appetiser is indeed refreshing with the mango salad. Scallop wasn't too bad too.

2) steamed egg white topped with fish maw and shredded chicken
My sister distributed this dish to us. Guess I am lucky or unlucky, didnt get the shredded chicken. The shredded chicken is in small quantity. The egg white was not smooth. And the fish maw soup is not thick as well.
It was an average dish. And quantity is small.

3) 10 head whole abalone and ringed conpoy
It came in nice presentation. Thick slice of melon encompasses the dried scallop, with abalone sitting around them;)
Taste wise, is really average. Abalone is kind of bland. Sauce is light as well. The only good thing is that the dried scallop is not as overly cooked.

4) prawn coated with milk and butter
Pathetically small! Didnt managed to bring out the taste of this dish. Not flavourful. It's very average.

5) noodle with spring onion and ginger
noodle is the mee kia type. and has a strong "kee" smell.. Definitely is a spoiler to the whole set menu.

6) abundance 5 gems desserts
Not too sweet and thick. It suitable for me who doesn't like sweet things.

Good thing is they throw in a free 1/4 suckling pig for this mother's day set menu. My sister say the suckling pig has a very strong "PIG' smell, its not crisp to the point as well.Overall, I feel the food in zi yean are average. And is not on the "will revisit" list.
