We had been to Tao's Restaurant, Juju and now we are here at Dozo.
For lunch, it is a 6-course set and what is interesting here is that for every course, we can pick our preferred dish from a selection
Fruity drink was served in shotglasses before our meal.
While waiting for our food, we nibbled on the crispy somen sticks of different flavour.

Hubby's Gratinated Escargots topped with Yuzu butter
Took one escargot and it was quite meaty and chewy, left me craving for more!

Infusion of cepes mushroom and truffle
The staff explained to me that I was supposed to chew the truffle first before drinking the soup. However, the truffle was so thin that I could hardly taste any favour out of it. Didn't really matter as the mushroom soup was thick and tasty.Beef Tenderloin on "pu-ye" and granite hot stone
I was really impressed with this main course in terms of presentation and taste. The beef was really tender and you could still cook the beef slices on the hot stones if you find them too raw.For dinner, there will be an additional 1 course of cold dish. However, in terms of price, it will cost $20++ more than the 6-course lunch set. For our lunch set, it cost $93.70 for 2 including service charge and GST.

Happy that I manage to establish an exercise routine with my friend A every weekend. We would go Amore for classes either on Saturday or Sunday

Last weekend, after our 2-hour classes, we had our lunch at Fish & Co at Tampines One. Hubby joined us for lunch too.

Page 2 of the different types of fish and chips on the menu, so many varieties. Didn't know that they also serve Japanese Fish & Chips eg. Dip the fried fish in soba sauce? Singapore Fish & Chips goes with chili crab paste... Errr.. don't think I would want to try this.

I ordered Danish Fish & Chips. I like it because it was cripsy and cheesy! A and hubby both ordered their signature New York Fish & Chips. Definitely a good place for Fish & Chips.

Met up with a few friends for a catch-up session.

I ordered Claypot Vermicelli with Soft Shell Crab. It was a bit salty but the soft shell crab was nice!I tried my friend's Olive Rice with Chicken - Where is the chicken meat? Haha... Don't quite like this dish, the olives are not strong enough. Thai Iced Tea
I think this was the first time I had Thai Iced Tea. Don't quite like it, think it requires an acquired taste.Although there were some hits and misses here, I will still be back again because of the comfortable setting.

I had made a reservation for two at "Hosted on the Patio" to sort of celebrate our 11 years together. Both of us ordered the Grilled Angus Sirloin Steak Cooked in Medium ($30). I ordered the Bitter Chocolate and Banana Rum Tart ($10) Hubby ordered the Marbled Cream Cheese Cake ($10) We enjoyed both the desserts but I felt the the steak was rather forgettable.
Total bill came up to $94 for the 2 mains and 2 desserts.

They have a Super-Sized burger and the actual size of the burger (in picture form) is shown in the menu. It cost $29.90. We didn't order this of course... It is really big. Instead, hubby ordered the house burger. After finishing the burger, he was full and I "helped" him to finish the fries

Squid Ink Pasta ($14.90)
Today, I decided to be a bit more adventurous and try out the squid ink pasta. I wanted to try this during the previous dinner with my friends at Ma Maison but when they warned me that the ink would stained my teeth, I had second thoughts True enough, I will not advise you to order this dish if you are going on a date. I got to wipe my lips a number of times to get rid of the ink so those people sitting near me will not laugh at me. Heehee...

It tasted like the normal dry version of the minced meat noodle that I often have but a bit more salty. Anyway, I ordered this dish for the experience only so I wasn't really expecting much.
