Gangster Ice Smile Aug 03, 2013

Have you ever heard of Gangster Ice? It is a creation by the owner, which is made of mango ice and durian flesh. There were generous serving of mango cubes drizzled over with condensed milk and topped with a scoop of durian.
I like the mango most as it is sweet and rich in taste, but the durian would have better if it is less watery. I will definitely recommend my friends to check out this dessert stall.

Chicken Chop Noodle Smile Aug 02, 2013
Categories : Taiwanese

Located at the basement of a building around Middle road lies a stall famous for their pork chop rice. Although being famous for their pork chop rice, i decided to try their chicken chop noodle ($4) instead. The serving was appropriate and the noodle texture were soft and smooth. Lastly, the chicken chop was chewy and tender, while the black pepper sauce goes well with it. I will recommend everybody to give this stall a try.

2pcs Chicken Joy Value Meal Smile Aug 02, 2013

Categories : Filipino | Fast Food | Halal

I have heard so much about this filipino fast-food and finally I get to try this myself. I ordered a 2pcs chicken joy value meal, which come with 2 pcs chicken, rice, mash potato and a drink. The chicken was indeed crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it is definitely in my favourite list now. However, I didn't really like the rice as it soggy and the mashed potato wasn't hot enough.

Overall, I will recommend to get an ala carte for the chicken only.

Pancake Souffle Style Smile Aug 02, 2013

Being amazed by the beautiful sample at the entrance is what attract me to this restaurant. As a matcha fan, I order a pancake souffle style with matcha & ogura bean paste. The pancake was hot and fluffy together with the matcha ice cream was really a perfect match. Next, the size of the pancake was really big, but it would have been better it there is more topping.
Overall, I would come back again to try their other item.

Green Tea Ice Shave Smile Aug 01, 2013
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Restaurant | Chinese Desserts | Desserts and Cakes

Offering a wide range of desserts such as hot dessert, ice shave, cakes, I ordered the green tea ice shave. The serving was quite generous, so I would recommend small eater to share it with somebody to prevent food wastage. The ice shave has some topping, which include nata de coco, red bean and green tea mochi. I like the taste of the shave as the green tea wasn't too sweet and the topping like nata and mochi were chewy, which make it go well with the shave. I will definitely recommend my friends to satisfy their dessert craving here in the future.
