A family cafe in ulu Sembawang, where I live. No aircon for outdoor seats though… anyway just aim for the sofa seats if you wish to sit and chill for long.

I totally don’t understand why the menu looks like old school home economics project slides with food pictures and descriptions. I felt like I just read a thick project file. Ahhhhh… I hope they would provide more alluring menus to read.

Anyway, I love the appetising soup and those chips!

We shared a spring chicken which doesn't taste that good. Just too normal. The chilli tasted like chicken rice chilli.

We also had mild spicy buffalo wings. Satay comes along with it too. I would say it's normal taste but the ketupat is soft and good.

Overall food so-so but good for ambience dining as it’s very lively & vibrant.

One of my most filling and typical breakfasts to start my day! Very convenient to eat cos I don’t have to spend time peeling the eggs shells. Muahahaha! I love the cheese toast. It's just right an amount for my stomach. The traditional kaya toast is also very good but 4 pieces is too much for me. As for the eggs, I never have complaints because it's peeled and presented nicely for me to eat. Tea's pretty thick too. A typical good breakfast to kick start a day.

I’ve always loved the peace and the greenery here, and indeed it made me felt calm for a while. I can’t emphasise enough how thankful I’m for the peace and tranquility here! Yeah I like quiet dining places. The lightings and feel was calm and slightly romantic too. Good for quiet eats!

Mushroom risotto. Kinda like cheesy sticky rice with many mushrooms in it. Mushrooms, cheese and rice lovers would probably like this simple and easy to eat dish. But sadly, like I mentioned I wasn’t feeling all too good and so I didn’t eat a lot of it despite it’s $22. Nevertheless, the overall atmosphere was acceptable though I still think it’s….. expensive.

It's a place where I would recommend for quiet and peaceful diners. smile

It’s spacious and a seemingly okay place to chill. However, it was too noisy for me so I didn’t like it. Plus, I wasn’t feeling too good so the mood was just wrong for me. Way too noisy!!!!!!!!

Truffle fries for $7. One word – expensive. I thought it’s some heavenly snack but no… they were pretty normal like mac’s fries. No doubt it had this weird taste like wasabi or what in it that I can’t describe, but the overall feel was just like any other normal fries after eating much of it.

Tau sa pau for $2.50. Still on the expensive side but it’s one of the cheapest items in the menu already. Extremely soft, hot and fluffy so it’s a good bite. Good to try if you like paus.

I doubt I'll return to try the other dishes.

A very colourful and spacious restaurant that serves Mediterranean food. I’m pleased to see interesting and attractive designs/promotions all around the area. I love the interior decorations and lightings. I think the vibrant colours made the whole ambience very friendly and cheerful. I felt like I’ve momentarily entered another country’s restaurant. Good ambience!

You’ll be given a card upon entrance to keep a record of the food you ordered from the various “stalls” inside the restaurant. After ordering, we were given these alarms that would light up to notify us to collect our food when they’re ready. The light up ringing + vibrating version where you’d go omg omg food’s ready!

Our first food: Mixed kebab platter for 2. *All ready for an extremely meaty meal!* Good mix of meat. Super meaty and chewy throughout. I couldn’t really differentiate which is which meat so I just ate blindly. The rice was soft, slightly sticky and had a unique slight tomato/coconut taste.

Today’s special – grade 5 wagyu pump steak ($24.90). Good beef, though there’s a bit of burnt taste. The mushrooms were very crunchy! Overall, the food had a tinge of speciality in them that I couldn’t describe. I would return to try the other varieties available.
