Me and hubby are craving for thai food and so we decide to ease our cravings at BaliThai.Hubby had Thai iced Coffee ($3.50), the coffee is smooth and fragrant.I ordered the Sparkling Dracula ($3.80), the name caught my attention and so I decide to order one to try. Nice sparkling drink with a little rose syrup taste. Great drink.Tom Yum Pot ($12.50), this is big enough for 2-3 people to share, a little spicy and sour. Great taste with fresh ingredients such as grass mushrooms and seafood.Seafood Phat Thai ($10.80), I quite like the phat thai here, its a little wet and the sauce is sweet, the noodle is well fried, great taste.Pineapple rice with fish fillet ($11.80), the pineapple rice is fragrant and the fish fillet is well marinated and crispy.Thai prawn cake ($7.00), this is nice, both hubby and me like this, the prawn filling is crunchy and the outer skin is crispy. Great.

This is something that we will definitely order whenever we dine at Bukit Timah Market. Located at a corner, this stall is not difficult to find.

The oysters omelette here is nice, not too oily and they are quite generous with oysters. The oysters they used are small but fresh and juicy. The combination of the egg and the starch are just nice, fragrant and crispy. Their chilli sauce is nice, a little sour and not very spicy. Nice.

we walk around NEX and decide to settle down at Sheng Kee Dessert for some desserts..Mango Pamelo Sago, I find this nice, the mango puree is quite thick and has lots of mango cubes and pamelo in it..Mango Pamelo Herbal Jelly.. I never taste this but this is something that my BIL will order when he dine here..Avocado Float, this is nice too, I am not a fan for avocado but this is nice with the vanilla ice-cream.. the taste is nice and the texture is smooth.Carrot Cake, never try this but hubby says okPrawn Mango Roll, the prawn is fresh and crunchy and the mango is sweet, nice combination.Durian Crispy Roll, I find this quite special, the durian puree wrap with Spring roll skin is great, the skin is crispy and the durian filling is sweet and fragrant. But I think best eaten when its still hot..Shrimp Beancurd Skin, ok, normal, not oily and niceThe custard Pau here is nice and the custard is those watery type that will flow out when cut open.. I like this kind of custard pau..

The service here is great, the staffs here are friendly and nice but, I do not like the open concept dining here, a little weird to have people looking at you when you are eating and they do not have a lot of seatings here. Overall, great place for desserts. Will definitely come back for more again.

I was thinking what I want to have for lunch, not that hungry and so I decide to go Qi Ji for something not too heavy.I ordered the popiah and I find their popiah yummy, the popiah skin is not thick and soft, the filling is fragrant and wet and can taste the sweet sauce in it. The chilli enhance the taste further, nice.I saw people having chee cheong fun and decide to order one to try too, the chee cheong fun is nice too. I opt to have mine with only sweet sauce, their sweet sauce is nice, not too sweet and the chee cheong fun is smooth and soft, nice...

Bread Talk headquarters at Tai Seng is finally open and so today we decide to go there to try. Decide to order the usual stuffs we had when we dine at Bread Talk but was quite disappointed with the food quality here.The bo lou bun here is not warm and not that soft as compared to the other breadtalk outlet.The mee rebus looks yummy but the taste is no good, the noodles are not fully cooked, a little hard and the gravy is not that nice as compared to the other outlets we go.The laksa is not yummy at all, the mee tai bak is cooked till so soft, check out the next pic, it is so soft till it is all broken into small pieces, very disappointed.the coffee here is not nice too, a little sour in taste, don't like.
