Mee Pok Smile Jul 03, 2013

Having craving for mee pok and walk past this stall and decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it can be opt out if you don't want it to be serve with prawn. The ingredients is fresh and the serving is more than enough to fill empty stomach. Texture of the noodles is soft and QQ. Soup is tasty as they boil it with the bone and serve it together with chinese celery. Will come for more soon.mad

Duck noodles Smile Jul 03, 2013

Having duck noodles from this stall as seems is popular during breakfast. Duck meat is tasty and tender that is easily chewed. Noodles is soft and easy to digest. Soup is cooked with herbal spices that make it wonderful with all the combination. Chilli seems abit too sour and doesn't match well with duck. Overall is acceptable and guess that is how teochew people love their duck to be serve.lol Will come back again to try on the rice.

Have a mixed rice from this stall. Order hotdog, curry mutton, fried potato and my favorite vegetable. Curry mutton taste fantastic, meat is soft and curry is just nice and is satisfy my hunger for spicy. hotdog is just per normal and cooked with sweet chilli sauce, nothing fancy about it. Fried potato is cooked with egg and it taste nice. Lastly will be the vegetable, is fried with beancurd and bean. it taste good and whenever I eat Muslim food, I will look out for this dish before I decide to eat. tongue

Worth trying Smile Jul 01, 2013

Was feeling hungry and decided to give it a try for this stall. Ordered a satay sauce BBQ chicken and it turns out delicious. The chicken is taste perfectly well with the satay sauce and the serving is more then enough to have stomach bloated. It comes along with cracker, egg, vegetable and soup. I like most is the chilli sauce which is spicy enough for me as I'm a chilli eater. Will definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu. smile

Ramen at Ang Mo Kio Smile Jun 28, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Noodles

This ramen place located in the suburbs area in Ang Mo Kio has lots of variety to choose from. You can choose your ramen soup. I ordered the tomato based fried chicken karaage ramen which my friend ordered the kimchi ramen. I thought it was really salty though. My friend had the same opinion. The set pricing was still worth it though but didn’t really fancy the taste of the food. Perhaps some improvements could be made. Service and ambience were quite alright though with some pretty nice décor which makes you feel a little cosier.
