I went to sheng kee for dinner since my mom wanted to, ordered each a set and upgraded with the extra $1.90 for either the desserts/snacks or the drink.find the taste of wanton noodle was just nice, just that there too little sauce, but the wantons are just sweet enough if only the mango pomelo sago was alittle more icely and colder, might taste nicer, but still taste abit too sweet that you might need to drink water after finishing a bowl of it. carrot cake was soft and mushy inside while crunchy on the skin surface.

I went with my family to try the bak kut teh. The bak kut teh had extra ingredients unlike the few shops I tried before. There are a bit of golden mushrooms, and some pig stomach in together with the normal stuff, and the soup tastes more herb-like and sweeter! It tastes nice for me, and the best thing is that its being served hot! It is steaming hot and still boiling after it is served. Pig trotters are tender, just that the skin part does not really taste interesting, just simple okay okay taste for me.

In my own personal opinion, the you tian taste much better than the meat in the bak kut teh, the meat wasn't really tender and soup base itself very pepper-ish? Like you will taste more of the pepper than the soup itself. I thought the soup will taste slightly different with the pig stomach one, but both the soup is the same taste But I do love the barley drink there, taste really nice and sweet, got the barley taste compare to other places that taste overly sweet with no barley taste left

I went around to look for food to eat, decided to give this Japanese stall a try since it look somehow different from other stalls, plus i do like jap food so why not a try. food does look okay but lack a little in appearance for me, it just felt kind of plain. other than the look, the rice was really a disappointment It is like eating mushy hard flour in small pieces, it wasn't really cooked properly. But the side dishes like the salmon & tempura still was still tasty, not very good good but after being disappointed about the rice, at the the fish & prawn plus sweet potato is still relatively good. The bento set come with a miso soup, but it lacked of seaweed!

I ordered Sirloin Steak with black pepper sauce, but you can choose between this sauce or the brown sauce. It costs around $8 - 9, while other dishes are like $6 or more depending on what you order. I need wait for about 5 - 10 mins around there for the food.

The serving was just nice for me, but the fries wasn't really hot, but it is like eating cold fries instead, which kind of disappoints me ): then the steak was supposed to be middle rare but turned out cooked for me, but dad's one was really middle rare which was what I wanted. I guess it is hard to ask too much in a food court I guess. But anyway, the only nice thing that was really good was the black pepper sauce! At least the sauce didn't disappoint me
