King Crab Legs

King Crab Legs

The king crab legs are piled in a stash in the centre circle of their buffet spread. Very welcoming to me. (I love seafood and especially CRABS!!)

Okay, so I took one and went back to my table. They provide those crab scissors and it is available just next to the crabby station. How convenient mad The meat is so juicy and fresh!! sweet seafood lol

I want to go back again for there is a variety of meats and other seafood selections too.

Aussie Beef Sliders with Pickled Beetroot & Tobacco Onions

Aussie Beef Sliders with Pickled Beetroot & Tobacco Onions

Have you been here yet? The view is awesome. Day or night. Yes, I am bought over even before eating or drinking anything.

For this dish, the bread was fluffy and warm when served. Beef was juicy and if you managed to chew straight down the burger, you will be surprised with a sudden soft crunch after the beef patty. that is the slice of beetroot.

Overall taste was acceptable for me. Service was good. Rather attentive staff and they are smiling 80% of the time.

Shanghai Nian Gao

Shanghai Nian Gao

As a kiddo, my grandmother would cook these yummy nian gao in a white broth and stuffed it with lots of vegetables and for me to eat randomly.

Here at Imperial, I chanced upon the same nian gao but here, they stir-fried it in dark sauce, with some cabbages and mushrooms. I actually quite enjoyed the chewy texture. It was very fragrant but turned cold fast due to the restaurant super low temperature.

Be prepared to queue if you want to eat here. Good news will be fast turnover rate smile

3 variations of chicken chops were presented today. personally preferred the original version.

satay version was very nutty so if you enjoy nuts, go for this.

black pepper version was not as spicy as I would have preferred it to be. but if you prefer milder spiciness, go for this.

the fries that came together were timely fried and not soggy and yet soft within.

Western food prepared the healthy way. Try them if you are in the area smile

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Lunch)

This food centre is always packed with hungry people and is known to house several yummilicious local food.

Today, my preferred of the 4 given dishes goes to the Dumpling soup smile

Bite into the soft thin dumpling skin and be greeted with crunchy water chestnuts at first contact tongue

The other dish I liked was the Soya Sauce Chicken Noodle. Not too oily, and the noodles were relatively easy to toss and mix with the use of given chopsticks despite being left out on the table for some time chopstick

I was told that the hawker is listed under the Healthier Hawker Food Program by Health Promotion Board. BONUS!! lol
