Aside from the adorable-looking bun design, the Bear Paw Burgers is pretty much a miss. This new food snack originates from Taiwan's Fengjia Night Market. The trademark here is the iconic bear paw print on the burger bun.

Tried the Oishi Fish Fillet with yam-flavored bun and Thai Chilli sauce while my friend had it with the curry-flavored bun and honey mustard sauce. Along with the burger, a set meal comes with fries (or cheese fries with an additional of $1) plus a drink (soy milk or canned drinks). Our meal of two set meals then added up to $19.80.

Though it is reasonably priced I find the burger less than satisfactory. The yam bun tasted plain with no trace of yam flavour except that it is purple-coloured. But the other had indeed a tinge of curry flavour. The Fish fillet was plain ordinary. Overall, besides the cute print and shape of the burger, there was nothing much to it. The Cheese fries was alright with ample cheese dressing drizzled on thick-cut fries.

I appreciate that the place is outdoor with alfresco dining area. It was breezy outside then and provided us a conducive place to eat and chit-chat. Food is far from fantastic but I think it is worth the try once and to get some snapshots of the Bear Paw Bun lol

Snow Ice for Dessert! Smile Feb 01, 2014

As the name Fluffy portrays, this dessert place signature Snow Ice has indeed a fluffy texture. And to add an extra twist to it, there is a whole range of different ice flavors one can choose from such as milk, soy, horlicks and mango. For a sourish option, there is also the option of Lime Sherbet Ice.

Aside from its interesting variety, the place has an interesting homey atmosphere too. Walled in pink, there are five small posters hung on wall stating reasons why one should not hesitate indulging in desserts. Haha for girls, there is indeed always a stomach for desserts lol Overall decorations gives off quite an adorable vibe, cute and sweet smile

Had a mini Soy Snow Ice with coffee jelly as topping ($4) and LimeLight.
The snow ice had quite strong soy taste but was slightly too sweet for my liking. The Lime rendition was nice and refreshing with generous portion of toppings.

If you are around Tanjong Pagar, it is a good place to chit chat while having some desserts. The place sells beancurd, Chinese paste and pancakes too. But ahh perhaps the place suits more for the females as we always have room for sweet stuff and a thing for pink cute stuff tongue

Healthy and Good *thumbs up* Smile Feb 01, 2014

Cedele is one of my most frequented eatery place. I like their health-conscious concept in food preparation. The place prides itself of the philosophy to eat good and live well. True enough, I think it offers healthy food that tastes great lol

For burgers, I recommend their Beef Onion Portobello Burger. The grilled Beef patty tasted very fresh and juicy, not artificial-like. Sandwiches within along the juicy patty were Onion Balsamic Marmalata, sautéed Portobello Mushroom, Mayonnaise, Wholegrain Mustard, lettuce and tomato. And one get to choose the bread instead of the usual boring white burger bread.

For pasta, one can never go wrong with their Red Seafood Risotto. It is an wholesome load of seafood (white fish, prawn and mussels) accompanied with risotto drench in rich tomato base. I like that it is wet and richly tomato-flavored. But, it could be otherwise for some.

Lastly I have cakes to seal my satisfaction for a complete fulfilling meal. I like the Black Sesame Tahini cake very much. It has a rich black sesame taste in the sponge cake accompanied with a light layer of cream cheese. And ahh I have always the dilemma of choosing either the Tahini cake or their equally awesome Carrot Walnut cake. The cake is not too sweet (unlike most carrot cakes I have had) and moist. Carrot shreds can be visibly seen in the sponge cake. The cream cheese and walnuts on top complement perfectly.

Ambience-wise, the concept is just simple and no-fuss. The food speaks for itself – healthy and delicious with a wholesome interesting variety overall.

I love coffee. I love dark chocolate. At Max Brenner, I have the best of both worlds heehee lol

The place serves a wide range of chocolate and coffee drinks and desserts. And the crockery used to serve is quite unique and cute, appeals to people like me who emphasizes on food presentation tongue

This is a great place to chill indeed and satisfy one's sweet tooth at the same time. Forget about the usual coffee places like Starbucks heehee lol But pricing here is slightly steeper ><

I was here a year ago and have not returned since as it was out of the way for me. And after this second visit, it is most unlikely I would return again. Sadly, as do most of the eating places function, quality tends to slip after gaining enough reputation and crowd. It is quite a pity that this place is likewise too sad

Ordered the Fish Head steamboat for four persons ($40). Soup tasted like just packed with MSG, unlike the last time it had been during my first visit. The portion of fish inside had also reduced while most of the fish pieces were more of bones. With the portion of ingredients contained in the steamboat, it was indeed not worthwhile anymore. I can easily have more fish pieces and veggies at other steamboat places at the same price mad

However, their signature beancurd was not too bad as well as the Prawn roll. These two dishes were my only consolation haha. On the other hand, the Prawn Paste Chicken was alright, nothing fantastic. Overall, I think food quality is just average but standard has definitely dropped. I might as well hunt for other fish head steamboat restaurants which could offer the same, or even better, standards.
