Pizza

Pizza

This pizza outlet is at central working district hence it is crowded during lunch I went during dinner which is less crowded. The restaurant does not have any indoor seats. It is 100% Al fresco. The seats are high tables and chairs outside the restaurant. However their pizza is so far one of the best I have ever tried. I ordered the pizza with Parma ham, goat cheese a rocket leaves. The Parma ham portion is very generous and the ingredient are all very fresh. The crust of the pizza is thin and crispy and baked in a traditional Italian oven. Total cost about $25++

Tea break

Tea break

It is a quiet afternoon when I feel like biting something but not too hungry. So I decided to go for afternoon break at bread society at suntec. This cafe have seats by the window and the windows are full glass, hence you can see the view and roads very clearly. You can either order from their menu or pick some items from the bread and cake display I picked the white chocolate croissant with almond and purple sweet potatoes with red bean bread. Great place to have a quiet afternoon tea. Total cost about $4. I did not order coffee or tea as it is a but pricey. However you can ask for ice water.

Fried rice

Fried rice

Chance upon a Killiney kopitiam at marina square. The shop is quite small at one corner of marina square. Apart from the usual toast bread and coffee this shop sells savory food such as fried rice, fried noodles and nadir lemark etc. curious with the taste do their food I ordered fried rice with fried halibut. To my surprise, it is actually quite tasty. The fried rice is freshly fried upon my order, not those re fried and kept in a warmer. The fried halibut to my surprise have the standard of those specialized seafood restaurant. The fish is fresh and the batter used is crispy. Also remember to ask for their sambas Chilli. Excellent I ordered the set with a coffee which cost me about $8.90 although a bit pricey but it's worth the money.

Egg Benedict

Egg Benedict

This restaurant sells all day breakfast and waffles and pancakes. The restaurant s very colorful and decorated with very cute colorful chairs. Their salt and pepper comes in egg shaped shaker which is very cute. I ordered the egg Benedict. The egg is poached to perfection and the yolk is liquid and runny. There are also salad with vinegar dressing and 2 pieces of very crispy bacon and a piece of ham. However it is a bit costly as this small potion here cost about $15. Although it taste very good but I personally find it a bit pricey.
