Fried Chicken Craze Smile Sep 05, 2012   (Related Review)

I realized I had been fondly eating the same kind of food very frequent of late, first was the wanton noodles and then now fried chicken! I really like KFC original reciepe fried chicken as the marination of herbs blended so well into the chicken yet not overpowering. I ordered a 2 pieces meal which was at $6.90 and I was glad that the battered skin was crispy and not oily, and I need not drain the oil with a serviette. Really finger licking good.

Was curious at the selections of soup from this stall and after reading through it, it just reminded me so much of good home boiled soup. There were many people queuing and they were mainly elderly and I trusted their taste buds and so I went for it too.
I ordered a apple and pear with pork ribs soup along with a bowl of rice at $5. The soup was so well brewed, sweet and thick. The pork ribs were so tender till it fell apart from the bone easily. I really enjoyed it and finished every drop of it.

Prawn Mee Cry Sep 05, 2012

Categories : Food Court

I was in a hurry and just need to have a quick lunch and then to run an errand. Saw there wasn't a queue here and thought just settled for a prawn noodle. They have 3 sizes from $4.50(S), $6.50(M) and $8.50(L) and the lady suggested that I ordered a medium bowl. It was a small portion and the soup was diluted and the taste was pretty much of soya sauce taste instead.
The prawns were stuck to the shell and they added an egg to it which never have I seen it before in a prawn noodle . Weird! !

I was keen on a waffle tonight and I thought of it with some peanut butter spread. The selections are wide and with what I had chosen was at $1.30 per piece. The spread of the peanut butter was generous and once done and handed to me, I took a quick bite while it was pipping hot and it was nice, a little crispy at the sides of the waffle and the pandan flavor of the waffle was mild but the spread was nice and thankfully no rancid oil taste.

My first time eating a mala food all mixed up in a big bowl. I was attracted to this stall firstly because of a long queue and the aromatic smell from the stall, so both my friend and I decided to give it a try. When came my turn, I just needed to pick up the ingredients that I wanted and the charges was all vegetables and non meat items was at $1.00each and all meat items was at $2.00 each.
My order came up to $10 and after I had selected, an assistant will asked what standard of spiciness for our mala and I asked for the mild one. It came out really nice and halfway through, my tongue was numbed due to the spiciness but very shiok! Overall taste was really good and full of wok hei, just a little oily.
It took us around 30 mins plus queuing to buy this food.
