Tirumisu Smile Apr 24, 2012

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

If you happen to drop by TCC for a cup of coffee or tea, do check it out on their cup of tirumisu as well. The different layers of moss which includes the wine flavours, chocolate flavours, vanilla flavours and strong coffee flavours have really make this small cup of dessert have that very surprising and nice taste which I also do not know what is best to describe it. It is really like so even if you want to have more than one small cup of it is really alright. One of the best seller dessert here and sold out very fast too. I think this dessert will taste better by going along with a hot beverage instead of a cold beverage.

Udon soup OK Apr 24, 2012
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

This udon soup from Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe is quite big and generous in portion. The udon in the soup is quite chewy and thick. Would be much better if more sliced chinese mushrooms and cut vegetables are added to it. The soup base is quite thick and have that nice braised meat taste in it. The Braised meat in this dish is quite tender and juicy, think the chef has cooked this braised meat for quite a few hours. The milk tea and other beverages are just alright, which is not really comparable with this udon soup's standard. Would love to try their other soup dishes during my future visits soon.

Chocolate sliced cakes Smile Apr 24, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Bakery

This Japanese confectionary has one of the best chocolate cake in town. The chocolate sponge is really soft and not too dry, with that really nice chocolate aroma in it. The fresh cream used in these chocolate cakes is also slightly sweet and with that nice mild vanilla flavour in it. The presentation of it is really good which easily attract the passer by attention, especially the younger generations. It is also available in one whole round cake which you can also order for any kind of special occasions to share with your loves one too.

You Tiao OK Apr 24, 2012
Categories : Food Court

This you tiao which is also known as fried long fritters, I suppose could be one of the best you tiao in Singapore. It is extra crunchy and at the same time even more fragrant. Usually the stall holders will not pre-fried too many to ensure the quality of the you tiao is still maintained. At ninety cents per pair of it, it is already ideal to fill your stomach. They also sell soya bean milk which I also usually love to dip my pipping hot you tiao in it to give it another kind of taste and experience. Too bad the soya bean was not the best we can get in Singapore, which I think so.

Sliced fish thick bee hoon Smile Apr 24, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Food Court | Chinese Soup

This fish soup stall always having very long queue during the lunch and dinner hours. It is always so crowded that you will usually need to take at least fifteen to twenty minutes to reach your turn before you can order your food. Love to eat their sliced fish thick bee hoon as their sliced fish is usually quite big and thick is size. It is really fresh and there are no stingy smell on it. The soup base is really clean and sweet, think should be the help of using the nice sweet ikan billi to boil the soup. The crispy ikan billis in it are also thick and delicious too. The portion of this dish is just alright for a person and you will feel the healthy content in it after you have it.
