Chee Cheong Fun Smile Feb 14, 2013   (Related Review)

I have been craving for the Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun from Dakota for DAYS.
Unfortunately, due to all the projects and assignments in school I do not have the time to travel far to satisfy my craving.
So in the end, I went to eat the normal Chee Cheong Fun from Koufu,
which tasted not bad too smile

This plate of Chee Cheong Fun was also very cheap and worth the money because it only costs me $1 for 3 rolls of ccf.
The ccf was served hot, with sesame oil, sweet sauce and chilly sauce too.
Sesame topping was included as well smile

The ccf was really soft and yummy.
A healthy bland breakfast indeed.
The aunty was very kind and friendly.
Satisfied with the service and environment!

Ba Chor Mee Smile Feb 14, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

I am a regular customer of this stall, because I love the Ba Chor Mee here.
My boyfriend told me that this stall have lasted for more than 10 years, I am not surprised because the famous Xiang Gu Ba Chor Mee (Minced Pork Noodles) here is like one of the best I have eaten in Singapore, be it dried or souped Ba Chor Mee.

This is my Mi Fen Ba Chor Mee (Vermicelli Minced Meat Noodles), souped.

I had this for my breakfast, it costs me $3.20, which was quite reasonable.
The soup was very fragrant with the smell of chinese parsley, or they call it coriander.
The minced meat and sliced pork were also tender and fresh.
Mushroom tasted great as well. The meat balls were not bad.

I really like the ba chor mee here. The aunty was a little weird but it's still at a bearable level mad
Awesome choice for breakfast and lunch smile

Lunch Smile Feb 13, 2013   (Related Review)

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Food Court

I was craving for some carb food because I was extremely hungry that day.
But I was bored of the dark soy sauce sliced pork that I always order from the Chinese Stall.
Finally, I ordered the San Chen Rou (三辰肉), stir-fried cabbage and stir-fried xiao bai cai.
Only a total of $2 for this plate of rice

The pork was delicious, however it was too salty for me. It was also too dark and it was fried, when I expected it to be braised because I am a quite health conscious person.
That day, the portion of vege given was less, compared to the previous days.
But there was an improvement. The vege dishes were less oily.
The rice quality and portion were as great as before.

Quite a satisfying meal.
Satisfying service at a comfortable dining environment.

Japanese Green Tea Cookies Smile Feb 13, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Bakery

My sister bought a box of Japanese Green Tea Cookies from Home's Favourite that day,
as she wanted to let us try their famous homemade cookies.
The box of cookies was quite expensive, it was $23.80 per box.
However, the cookies were nicely packed in a beautifully designed metal case, which is very suitable to be given as gift.

I was surprised because the cookies were not as fat as I expected them to be.
They were quite dry. I guess only a little amount of butter was used.
The green tea smell was very fragrant, the cookie was not sweet nor oily.

It was really a good try.
Quite worth the price for such high quality of healthy cookies smile

Environment was not bad, service was good too.

Chocolate Butter Cookies  Smile Feb 12, 2013

Categories : Indonesian | Desserts and Cakes

Bought a box of Chocolate Butter Cookies for Chinese New Year from Kedai Kue Kue at Great World City at an extremely affordable price.

The attractive appearance of the cookies really captivated my eyes so I decided to buy them to try, despite knowing that they are very fattening.

The cookies were very well arranged and beautiful, there were approximately 50 cookies in the box.
Nevertheless, I find the quality of the plastic box really bad as it cracked when I accidentally leaned on the box.
The cookies were not as sweet as I expected, which is a good thing for me.
It was slightly buttery so they are still fattening.
The icing toppings were thick and sweet.

Overall, not a bad try smile
