Yesterday, a friend of mine gave us some CHEWY JUNIOR treat!!
I was soooooooooooooooo happy because I love the donuts/creampuffs from Chewy Junior!!
They cost about $1.60 each, so
Check out the colourful donuts I've got!!

Left to right, up to down:
Coffee Muesli Crunch
Chocolate Madness
Chocolate Almond Crunch
Cream Cheese Caramel Milk
Strawberry Cheese
Lemon Pie Crunch
Butter Scotch Crunch
Chocolate Oreo Crunch
Peanut Butter Crunch

After trying so many different flavours, I still prefer my favourite Coffee Muesli Crunch!!

It was topped with bland cornflakes, sweet raisins and chocolate powder.
The topping itself was magnificent. Words cannot describe how happy I was!
The soft chewy bun went very well with the topping and the filling (coffee cream).
The filling was EXTREMELY creamy, but fattening! The cream filling was sweet, fragrant with the scent of coffee,
tasted super awesome with the soft bun!!

The Chocolate Madness was also one of my favourite!!!
The topping was so rich in chocolate gravy!!!
Chocoholic me love it so much too!!!

Same goes to Chocolate Almond Crunch and Peanut Butter Crunch.
People who love nuts can go for these as the nuts are very fragrant and crispy.

As for the other buns with cheese, I didn't really liked them because I think the cream filling is already thick and creamy enough, I find it a little disgusting to have cheese topping on top of the buns.

Service was very good and the environment was not bad.
Will buy sommore Chewy Juniors to try!!! smile

Believe it or not. $3 for this big packet of rice.
The portion of rice from this stall is always huge.

I ordered stir-fried tofu, soy sauce chicken, braised egg (ru dan) and fried bittergourd.
3 vege + 1 meat + rice for $3.
Where to get something as cheap as this?

The stir-fried tofu was fabulous! The cook must be very skilled because the stir-fried tofus were not crushed!
The soy sauce chicken was not bad, taste like homemade dish smile
The braised egg was as nice as usual,
and the fried bittergourd was awesome. I could still taste the bitterness of the bittergourd and the saltiness of the gravy.
Such a satisfying lunch I had today!!! lol

I had my breakfast again at the Chinese Food stall in North Canteen,
The price of the food from this stall is very cheap!

For example, Rice + 2 Vege + 1 Meat = $2.
You can never get this price outside.

I ordered the fried dark soy sauce pork with onion, stir-fried cabbage and xiao bai cai.
The portion of the rice was really huge, and the rice was of good quality.
Both the vege were fresh and crispy. They were not overcooked.
The pork was also not too salty. It was tender and yummy. The gravy went very well with the rice.

Overall, it was a very fulfilling, heavy and healthy breakfast.
Very good service too. mad

Today, I bought some snacks from Crystal Jade Kitchen again.
Bought a box of Malay kueh and colourful sponge cake rolls.

This box of Malay kueh costs me $2.40

and this box of colourful sponge cake rolls costs me approximately $2+ too!

The Malay kueh was quite sweet and soft, as usual.
But I'm gradually getting bored of it because it is not that special after all.
The price is also not cheap.

The colourful sponge cakes are slightly better. They are of different flavours, orange for orange, green for pandan, pink for strawberry and brown for chocolate.
The scent of the cakes are very fragrant and have a sweet smell.
The cakes are also extremely soft, so cottony.
I could never get enough of these! smile

The shop is very beautifully renovated, and the service was also good.
Will come back once a while to grab more snacks lol

Budget Meal! Smile Jan 28, 2013   (Related Review)

This is definitely one of the cheapest economy rice I can get today!
$3.50 for a huge packet of added rice, fried mushrooms with brinjal, fried potatoes, and fried sliced fish (zha yu pian).

Note: the fried sliced fish was in the plastic bag on the left.

The rice was very hard and rigid. Thus, it tasted very nice (not soft).
The fried mushroom with brinjal was very delicious as well, they were very well cooked and soft.
The gravy went very well with the rice which made my meal super yummy!
The stir-fried potatoes are quite soft, but not that soft. Love it!

This meal is really cheap and delicious!
Will buy more from this stall!!!!
