Porridge  OK Jun 22, 2012
Categories : Coffeeshop | Porridge/Congee

THis porridge sold at more than $3 per bowl is served piping hot. This stall is popular amongst people who love porridge. The porridge is well cooked and not those with rice and water added. It is not too salty which I like as not a lot of soy sauce was added to it. I however found it a little dry at times and sticky as it was cooked and boiled till the rice molecules were very fine. Overall still good to try and the serving is sufficient for a meal.

For $1.40, this bread contains many ingredients and fillings of green pepper, black pepper, cheese, hot dog and tomato sauce. The bread is not too soft and slightly fluffy. I wad surprised by the amount of iingredients in the bread and each bite has a surprising taste of crunch and flavour from the bread. Besides this bread, the bakery also sells a variety of other bread, donuts and pasteries, a plesant surprise I found after a day of work smile

Yummy breakfast set! OK Jun 15, 2012   (Related Review)

This egg benedict breakfast set from coffee bean breakfast set. This set comes with a cup of tea or coffee or iced tea. The meal is served piping hot and has a strong fragrant smell of egg, ham and cheese and quite appetizing for a breakfast meal. The egg is fully cooked and the egg yolk is not too runny which might not appeal to people who like their eggs not well cooked. The ham is flavourful and a little too salty for me but together with the cheese, the overall taste is wonderful and creamy.

Lontong  OK Jun 14, 2012

Categories : Malay

Wanted to have something spicy for lunch so tried the lontong! Priced at around $3.80 per bowl, the lontong is served piping hot with a few types of ingredients in it. The rice cake is soft and easy to chew and the ingredients are pretty fresh and abundant. Each bowl is served with tau gua, vegetables and one boiled egg. The tau guan is soaked in the lontong and hence each bite has a burst of its lontong gravy. generally not too spicy for those who can't take spicy food and worth to try. chopstick

Thick Chicken Floss Toast  OK Jun 14, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

This piece of toast is served with a generous sprinkle of chicken floss on top of the toast. Though it taste a little sweet to me, it is still worth trying as the bread taste quite fluffy and the butter that is spread on top of the toast taste really fragrant and fresh. This bread floss bread will appeal to those looking for a fresh new toast. Additionally, this toast is quite filling and can actually be eaten as a meal coupled with a cup of tea
