the fruit brioche is great. there is not much fruit in it but the pastry is almost perfect! nice and soft and just dense enough to hold up if you make it into bread pudding. very fresh and fragrant. all natural ingredients. love the fruit peel in it but not a fan of the raisins. generous size. service is not friendly or helpful at all. there is a variety of other breads to choose from. about $5

one of the few places that still does mee siam the old way. it is nicely balanced and not overly spicy. it is in fact perfect! and the limes are important to have to break down the chilli. the bean sprouts are fresh and love the hard boiled egg in chilli sauce. the serving is very generous. the service is friendly and polite and fast. would order this over and over again. the assam is also just the right balanced in this dish. about $4

the cocktail bun here is alright. had it before and it was rather dry but this time it's not bad at all. the coconut custard is nicely balanced. the sesame seeds balanced out the fragrance. the bun was cooked nicely brown. it was soft and the custard was really goos and just sweet enough. service is not friendly or polite at all, but it's fast. there is not a great variety to choose from. about $2

had the fish porridge. the picture on the menu shows a congee type porridge like the Cantonese version but what came out was the teochew version of rice in water. the fish soup is nice but overall the dish was not what we expected. there are some vegetable bits in the soup and some fish slices. not very generous with the ingredients. service is not very friendly either. about $6

at least their sweet potatoes and yams are bigger pieces then other places. there is no tapioca bits which i love. overall, it is boring but the taste is quite good. the coconut soup is very fresh and fragrant. just sweet enough. would have preferred to have the tapioca bits. the service is slow but friendly. some items get sold out very quickly or are never on offer eventhough it is on the menu. the yams and sweet potatoes are a bit overcooked. about $2.50
