We added on a basket of garlic bread for $4. Just nice there were 4 pieces of bread. The bread looked almost burnt and
the charred taste was stronger than the garlic itself. My dad's main course was the greek salad. A really large load of vegetables right there. He disliked the olives which were rather sour and the feta cheese. (He is not a fan of cheese.)
My mum's main course was the spaghetti with basil pesto sauce. She liked the dish although there were no meat as the
seasonings were tasty enough. My bro's main course was the tofu burger. (Why tofu? This is a vegetarian restaurant if you have forgotten!) It came with potato wedges, salad and a dip. The patty was full of tofu and potato taste and was rather yummy. As for me, I had the mediterranean wrap. It was a scary load of vegetables when I first caught sight of it being placed right in front of me. No meat fan would want to eat that. It would be a torment. As for me, I do not mind trying it out. I bit my first mouthful and o...it tasted not bad and I am not kidding. The feta cheese gave taste to it, while the chickpea and pumpkin spread within made the wrap not so dry. Each mouthful was crunchy (because of the variety of vegetables inside) and at the end, I was full and satisfied. Each of us had dessert and a hot cup of tea or coffee. The dessert was brownie with a scoop vanilla of ice cream. Soft brownie was always one of my favourite dessert, especially those that do not make my saliva too sticky after eating it.

Medzs OK Aug 10, 2012

When we entered the place, each of us were given a Medzs card which recorded what we ordered and allowed us to pay
at the end of our meal. The circular object was given to us when we ordered our meal. One of my friend ordered the chicken hotplate with rice. Strong cheesy and tomato taste and it looked quite filling. The rice was orangy. Another friend ordered this dory which came with mashed potato, salad, brinjal and garlic. I think that dory is always the safest choice if you do not want your fish meal to go wrong. Mine was the worst among all of the 3 dishes. The sea bream I ordered stinks! The fishy smell was over whelming that I have to eat it with the lemon juice and even with the brinjal. I liked the brinjal the most as it tasted really good. As for the mashed potato, it felt rather dry without any sauce to go with.

Mushiya Steamers Cry Aug 10, 2012

I 'da-bao' a coffee steam cake and a matcha steam cake. Basically the steam cakes were plain and were the same. A more
healthier choice as compared to muffins I supposed. The flavors were infused into the cream itself (coffee and matcha
cream) and a little final touches to make them looked different. What a waste of decoration as these steam cakes were placed in plastic bags which smudged and spoiled the appearance. I felt that they tasted too bland and not as nice as they looked.

The Manhattan Fish Market OK Aug 10, 2012

My friend add on the soup-of-the-day, which was cream of mushroom and a can of soft drink to his main course. As for me, I
did not add on as I did not want the mundane cream of mushroom soup. His set was the seafood platter which includes 2 prawns, some sotongs, fish fillet, fries, garlic rice and some vegetables. It sounds like a spread but actually a single person can finish all up. I ordered the herbs fillet (forgot the actual name) as I did not want to eat too heaty food that day. I changed the vegetables to fries Fries and garlic rice means more carbohydrates for me to gain weight. I asked for more mayonnaise
as the fries were too dry by iteself. The fish covered with herbs was real tasty, maybe also due to the fact that I like herbs flavoured food. The aluminium foil also contained the 'juice' and also the oil of the herbs-soaked fillet.

The Soup Spoon Smile Aug 10, 2012

My friens ordered the mushroom soup which came with a piece of bread. The soup was thick and filled with yummy bits of
mushroom. It went well with the bread and my friend decided to add on another piece for 50 cents. (I forgot if it was 50 or
70 cents.) As for me, I ordered the minestrone soup with the pastry on top. It came with the salad and sauce. It was my mistake for pouring all the sauce over and ended up the salad being too sour to be eaten. Anyway, I ate as much as I could. I loved the sour and sweet cranberries that were with the salad. The pastry was very fluffy and expanded looking. I felt like I was biting into the void and leaving a pile of debris (pastry crumbs) behind. As this was my second time eating this, I learnt from my previous mistake. I did not soak the entire pastry into the soup like that previous time I did. I broke it bit by bit and dipped them into the soup. The tomato based soup tasted good with plenty of ingredients such as macaronis, cabbages and other ingredients a minestrone soup would have.
