pudding tea Smile Jun 06, 2011

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

The very first time that I drank the pudding drink was in Hong Kong. I really misses the drinks since then and was wondering if I can find it in Singapore. Only afters years then I get to drink this pudding drink again! The shop was newly open at Parkway and I do think that they do have other outlets in Singapore. The name of the shop is different from the one that I tried in Hong Kong but the texture of the pudding is exactly the same. It is very smooth and it just flow through the straw and enter your mouth.

I would recommend this for those who like to have a change of taste if they are sick of bubble tea. Instead of the pearl, you get to taste the tea with the pudding.smile

I always find that the fried fritter given in the porridge is not enough. So most of the time, if I was to order any porridge, I will ordered addtional fried fritter to go with it. This is one of the stall that I always visit if I go clementi. The aunties are really friendly and they still can recognize my hubby even though he has not been there for a long time. The crispyness still remains after I dipped it in my porridge, which is the reason that I like their fried fritters. It brings back memories of my school days with every bite. How I wish I can turn the clock back and be a school girl again...

Chicken Chop Smile May 15, 2011

One of the best western food stalls I have tried. The chicken chop was very well seasoned and well cooked that it was still tender and yet had a slight crisp on the skin. They would separate the juicy chicken chop with a piece of plastic when you order it take away so that it would not make the fries soggy. Very well thought of. The fries was well done, and the coleslaw is worth mentioning, rich yet not overpowering. The garlic toast was also very well toasted and I simply love it and will come back for more.

delicious pancake Smile May 15, 2011

One of my favourite traditional snacks and I think this is one of the best ones I have tried. The edges are crispy and the fillings are substantial. Most importantly, the pancake is so fluffy and soft that it seemed to dissolve quickly in my mouth. This is the first time I tried pancake with such amazing texture. At only $0.70 a piece, I would definitely come back for more.

I used to eat this when I was young at another branch in Chinatown (which I think is their main branch) and the filling is different from others. The noodle is not soggy and has a fragrant taste even without adding any sauce. In addition, the vegetables that comes along with the set meal has fermented beancurd sauce. Although not many people might take to this taste but I simply love it. smile
