Subway is often my choice for my lunch since it is a fuss-free and healthy meal. I have good impressions of this outlet because of the excellent service. I had ordered the 6 inch turkey breast sub for my meal as takeway. I absentmindedly forgot my wallet when I left the counter and the service staff was honest enough to chase after me to return my wallet. It is really great of him, so thumbs up for that. In addition, the service staff preparing my sub is also generous with the vegetables, placing quite a lot of lettuce and green chillis when I indicated I would like to have more.

With regards to my sub, I love the turkey ham as it taste more natural without excessive use of salt to process the meat. I always have my sub with the honey mustard dressing, which adds a little taste of sweetness to the sub. Overall, it is a very enjoyable meal because of both excellent service and food.

Ooki Taiyaki serves the best taiyaki in my opinion. I never fail to get one when I happen to pass by its stall. This time, I got the custard flavour. Its skin is crispy yet soft on the inside. Not to mention the gooey custard filling hiding beneath its crispy exterior. Besides the custard flavour, there is also the conventional flavours like kaya, peanut butter and chocolate. Whichever flavour, this makes an absolutely delightful snack!

This hokkien mee is one of the more popular stalls when I visited last saturday. Its portions are priced at $3/$4/$5. As I had ordered other dishes, I decided to go for the smallest portion which is the $3 portion.

The hokkien mee is very fragrant indeed. Although not very visually enticing (as all prawns and sotongs are hidden from view), but it scores very well for its fragrance. And as for the taste, it is certainly as good as what its fragrance suggests. The yellow noodles and white beehoon has soaked up and absorbed all the gravy, making it very flavourful on its own. The chili is very nicely done - spicy enough and it adds a kick to the hokkien mee.

Lastly, its sotong is fabulous. One of the best sotongs I have eaten from a plate of hokkien mee, and not surprising, given that its name is fried sotong prawn mee. Its sotong is chewy and very fresh. Highly recommended!

This is really the Korean restaurant to go to. With every order, they will provide up to 10 side dishes. And what is astounishing about this is that one of the side dish is actually a small fish and all sides are refillable (except for the fish). My mother and I really got a shock when we first visited this restaurant last year and seeing them pile so many of these little dishes on our table. We didn't know what to order on our first visit, so we got the spicy beef set to share and we ordered another bowl of rice. The spicy beef looks fiery, but it is really not that spicy. It is very well flavoured and goes very well with rice. The sides too - I like the kimchi and the lettuce (flavoured with a slighty spicy, sourish sauce) best. Thumbs up!

This is really a value for money buffet. There are many stalls preparing different kinds of food ranging from sushi&sashimi, hotpot, pizzas, pasta, egg omelete, fried stuff, appetizers, desserts etc. The drinks are also free flow. The best part of the buffet is having unlimited servings of sashimi and the tempuras. I love the crunchy prawns hiding behind the cripsy batter. Also, be sure to try their tofu cheesecake and some other cakes which they have and do not replenish!

For a weekday lunch, it is $19.80++ for adults which works out to slightly more than $23 after GST and service charge. Recommended!
