Au Naturel- Healthy Cake Smile Nov 18, 2012

Categories : Frozen Yogurt | Juices

First time visiting 112 Katong and I was attracted to minus 18C's frozen yogurt cake. after being told that it uses 100% natural ingredients and contain no Gluten, Artificial Sweeteners, Artificial Flavouring and Preservatives as well. I was impressed and decided to buy one small yogurt cake and try. I was told that I had to put it into the fridge asap once I reach back. Unfortunately, due to the rain, I was caught in a bad jam and by the time i had gotten home, the cake had melted. Fortunately, after putting it into the freezer for sometime, the cake had solidified and the first bite, although very cold, was absolutely very refreshing- nicer than a typical ice-cream cake! As a yogurt lover, I was hooked onto the cake and what I like is this au naturel flavour as it not too sweet.
Definitely one of the options I will keep in mind if I am going to buy a birthday cake next time!lollol

hanging out at Han's Smile Nov 16, 2012

I really love eating at Han's- it had been around as long as I could remember. I have always loved eating their set- the lowest is around $9.80 and it includes a drink (ice lemon tea/orange juice/coffee/tea) with soup and bread and dessert(fruit) and the main course. That I feel can be quite affordable, especially when eating in town. Most people love the local dishes but I always like eating this set course that is available all day long. They are served piping hot and the taste is really not bad, given the price!lollol

Was at Cathay for movie with a group of friends and we decided to head for dinner after-that. It was my first time at Indulge and I really like the ambiance- makes me feel at home with the nice decor. I personally loved how nicely decorated the food was- you can really tell how much thought was put into it. The serving wasn't very small and the food really whetted my appetite. Thumbs up for everything- including the place!

This is definitely one of my favourite hangouts in NUS due to its close proximity to the Kent Ridge Bus terminal. I was first brought there during my orientation camps for a late night supper and unlike some of my peers who love to frequent the prata shop or fong seng, i prefer to patronize this stall for their handmade noodles. My friends simply adored the za jiang mian ( mixed noodles with sauce) and for me I loved their milk tea, ban mian, ru rou mian- all Taiwanese local delicacies. The dao xiao mian is also awesome too! During lunchtime, it can a little crowded with students and working adults and outside the peak hour, I like how it can be an ideal meeting place for friends to just chill and enjoy the contemporary and classic chinese music blasted from the stereos. Depending on the crowd, sometimes you are required to pay at the counter straight away and on other times, the 'aunty' will just take our order straight away. The price is also very affordable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per personlol

Authentic Korean cuisine  Smile Nov 07, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Korean

The first time that I visited Su Korean Cuisine was back in 2008 to celebrate the end of examinations. I was drawn by the hearty Korean fare since then. This time I bought 3 of my friends along with me for a girls' outing. It was a Saturday afternoon and despite the brisk business, the service was good and efficient. I ordered Bimbimbap and I loved how generous the ingredients were! We ordered side dishes as well such as chicken wings. My girlfriends really loved the variety of side dishes, especially the kimchi, which are refillable. All in all, since this restaurant was nicely tucked in a cosy much more 'eluded' corner, it is really a nice place to chill.

Look at the array of dishes!
