It was a hot day and it is far too hot to eat at the hawker centre. I decided to just takeaway my lunch back home. There are quite a few carrot cake stalls in the hawker centre but I ordered from this carrot cake stall as I could see them frying the carrot cake and it looked appetitsing. I requested mine with chilli and it is added into the carrot cake and fried at the very last minute before it was dished up. This is one of the best carrot cakes i have eaten and will continue supporting.Most of the time i would only eat black carrot cake that is sweet.This carrot cake is different,this stall only sells white carrot cake.And best of all they will deliver the carrot to your table where you are seated.I always order the $3 portion which comes with generous portion of eggs and crunchy caipok.The carrot cake is nicely fried and has an crispy edge which i loves.

The carrot  cake's texture was not hard and quite soft. They were fried with eggs. There was no wok taste and The taste was rather bland, lacking of fragrance. They should appeal to people who eat healthy. After reading the reviews, I find it a disappointment after trying.

My colleague took me to Bukit Timah Market and introduced this stall to me. I remembered I was not even hungry but I ordered anyway because it's only $2. I did not regret at all. Bukit Timah Food Centre has many carrot cake stalls and all of them have some queues. So I am not sure which stall is the best.I had decided to try this stall at the corner manned by a lady and her daugthers.There was a queue, the wait was about fifteen minutes.Their carrot cake was fried until outer layer cripsy, though inside the carrot cake filling taste a bit bland. Maybe they did not put enough cai poh.

Brought a plate of the white carrot cake from this famous stall in bukit timah market. Firstly, the presentation wise is not that good as the carrot cake is not nicely placed. Next as for the taste wise, it is quite tasty due to the addition of the chai pok and other seasoning. With the addition of the chai pok, it adds an additional crunchy texture to the carrot cake. The egg mixture is sufficiently added and mixture thoroughly with the carrot cake.

I do not usually like white carrot cake but after tasted the one from this stall it has since changed it. They fried the soft and moist carrot cake with the preserved radish to give it the fragrant before added in a generous amount of beaten egg to fried it well to give the surface a nice layer of crispiness. The carrot cake was cut in big and chunky pieces to give it an extra thickness. This goes really well with my Kopi O.

This is one of the nicer carrot cake I have eaten. My parents would sometimes deliberately drive there on weekends to da bao that back for us for breakfast. The carrot cake is very chewy, it is soft and tasty too. the amount of eggs they added to the carrot cake is very generous, giving it a nice egg fragrance. They also added chai poh inside, this gives the carrot cake a salty taste. Their chilli is really good, a little spicy but not spicy until the taste overpower the fragrance of the carrot

I always go there and eat when stayed at bukit timah. The stall used to operate by their father before handed down to their children. The standard is slightly not the same but still quite good. You can order $2, $3 or $4. They are quite generous with egg and the portion is quite good too.The texture of the carrot cake is quite moist. It is best to eat there as it can be a bit soggy if take away.

This is a popular fried carrot cake stall at bukit timah food centre. There is another equally famous stall but my regular choice has been this one. I will only order from other stall if this one is closed. I went in the evening. There were a few customers. I ordered and got it very fast. The $2 one is quite good. A lot of egg and a lot of chai po as requested by me. The fried carrot cake was soft. Quite a good eat.

I suppose it would have tasted much better if eaten hot but when i brought it home, it did not taste as nice as expected. The carrot cake was a little too thick; it might taste better if it's a thinner version just like the famous stall at Toa Payoh Lorong 1. It was fried with a generous amount of egg and a handful of chai po.The serving for $2.00 is pretty reasonable. Though it might not be the best but it is definitely one of the better ones out there.

Carrot cake is one of Singaporean's delight. The one from this stall is also one of the favorites. It is very well fried with lots of egg and pickled radish. I like it to be slightly burnt to bring out the fragrance of the egg. This stall is quite popular and can have a queue especially during dinner time. The small packet costs only $2, which is rarely seen nowadays.

There are 2 famous fried carrot cake stalls at this hawker centre, Hup Chong is one of them. This stall has been around for more than 30 years, and supposedly to be the first that started the white carrot cake, and now is in the good hand of the 3rd generation. i like it to be super crispy on the outside with additional of chai poh (pickled radish), lots of egg and extra chilli. This stall is pretty good though the standard can be inconsistent, it can be not crispy or too oily at times but gene
