I had this set while at the airport to pick up. This set is very affordable and god to munch for pass time while waiting for flight to land. about $4 for the set with coffee and toasted bread with butter and kaya. The brown bread is very crispy and the kaya is very creamy and tasty. The coffee is very good as they put both condense and sweeten milk in it and it is thick. To keep me dozing off while waiting.

I decided to have a late night supper at Changi Airport's Ya Kun toast since this is a 24-hour branch. The shop is quite empty and only a few other night owls is there to have their supper too. I ordered their Signature Toast Bread Set which comes with kaya toast, soft boiled egg and a drink. I was a bit disappointed with the toast because even though it is served from the grill, the toast is not hot and crispy. In fact, it tasted soft and a bit cold, definitely not up to their usual standard.

I hope they can improve their standard as this is a branch where many tourists will frequently visit.

As early as 8am, Ya Kun Kaya Toast was already quite packed - not many seats were available. The good thing about the environment is that, it has adequate spaces allowing travelers who have luggages to dine in comfortably by parking their luggage while having a quick bite.

Ya Kun probably has the best kaya toast around. The toast comes with both kaya and butter. The toasts come in 4 thin slices and are toasted to perfection. When served, the butter is melted and the combination of kaya and butter sandwhiched between the toast is just heavenly. This is definitely the kind of toast that used be so popular during the olden days and is perfect throughout the day. Other then kaya-butter, there are also other types of toast such as peanut butter, cheese or french toast.

I rate this toast 8/10

Sent my friend off at the airport and decided to have a hearty and delightful breakfast! Ya Kun it is!The Kaya toast, soft boiled eggs and tea is really scrumptious and delightable! If you want to start your day with a hearty and full breakfast, go with Ya Kun!!! I think they should add less condensed milk to the tea as it was a tad too sweet for my tastebuds.

I ordered the laksa with yellow noodles for a late supper to satisfy my craving for spicy food before going on my trip. The gravy is spicy with little bits of dried prawn. You get beancurd puff and a whole hard boiled egg. If you like extra spicy, you can add more sambal chillie. It is served in this takeaway container even though I was having it in the cafe. The set cost includes 1 drink.

It costs just $4.50 to get this full breakfast set that comprised of 2 eggs, 4 slices of bread with butter and sugar and tea with milk. The egg yolks were a little over cooked but still runny and went well with black soy sauce and egg whites. The bread are well toasted and taste awesome with the milk tea. I enjoyed the tea though it would have been better if less sugar was added.

I came here for lunch, and I saw that they had a new offer for a value meal, which contained 1 slice of kaya toast, 1 bowl of regular-sized mee siam, and 1 cup of either coffee/tea. The mee siam was quite spicy, but I saw that they added tomatoes to the gravy, so I guess that's what helped to tame the spice, but overall, the gravy was good, and the siam was reasonable, but nothing that fantastic. As for the tea, I think it was great, as it has always been
For $5.50, I think this meal is of much value.

WHich restaurant in the changi airport is not crowded at all. The Ya Kun kaya toast is no surprise to me. It is one cafe that has a very strong local flavour and I would say it is good to have one outlet in the airport. If you are a fan of half boiled egg, then try theirs. They controlled the temperature well such that the egg yolk is cooked till it's best taste and colour. try it !!

Probably this is the only time which I see Ya Kun with lesser crowd on a weekend night as it was near dinner time. I didn't go for my usual toast, instead I decided to try out their chocolate shake. The richness of the the chocolate filled my mouth instantly and yet it is not too sweet. I think the price is rather reasonably given that the amount of chocolate which was put in the drink. I will definitely try it again
