Usually when I have a craving for Toast Box I will go to Ang Mo Kio, but now there's new outlet here, I can have it anytime want. Came here for breakfast and had their toast and eggs and tea. I liked their peanut butter thick toast, they will always spread a thick layer of peanut butter on it. Very rich and creamy. The half boiled egg was nice, quite big compared to ya kun. Waiting time take about 10 mins.

This toast box outlet is located prominently within the basement 1 center area of Hougang Mall. There were plenty of seating available for my group of friends to find a place to chit-chat and have some drinks. I decided to try a little special drink, bandung with pearls. The bandung (rose-syrup) drink is quite old-school and is now seldom seen in hawker centers. I liked the version here, the bandung is fragrant and not too sweet. The pearls were nice & chewy too. The Toast Box at this outlet became my current favourite "la kopi" relax place. Within this shopping area, there are a few supermarkets for me to do marketing / shopping and before any of these "chores", i would tuck myself in a cosy corner and enjoy my favourite kopi c and toast.The coffee has a rich aroma, smooth and not too sweet. A good dose for coffee addict like me.Among all the different kinda toasts, I like the otah toast BEST. Otah is not too spicy, has a mild lemongrass and spices tast
