How do actually define a great cupcake? I found fabulous cupcakes sold at Toa Payoh. The quantity of cupcakes made was limited every day, it subjected to availability especially their signature cupcakes. Light and fluffy cupcakes with different kind of flavours, I like the caramel cupcake the most. Both of them were light and fluffy, they were colourful and tasty. I knew it was exaggerated, but I really missed them badly. I will buy it again, costed $3.00 and above for each cupcake.

51 degree bakery has pretty good pastries. I tried their tarts and felt they were worth it for the price. I had the lemon meringue tart which tangy and sweet at the same time with a fluffy soft meringue topping that was nicely browned. The lemon curd was smooth and had strips of zest in it, while the crust was buttery and cookie like. Overall a good deal for the price.

Was in the area after finishing business. A very classy bakery under a very old HDB estate in Toa Payoh.The bakery is facing SPH. Interesting and out of place looking between the 7-eleven and a bubble tea outlet. Very few items displayed on the shelf, mostly cupcakes. In the end, bought the chocolate cake. Feels not cheap for the price paid for such a plain cake.
