I went to carousel with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. Apparently the spread seems different from the last time we went. This time the food was really good, there was this herbal prawn, the prawn was cooked in a herbal broth. The prawn was very sweet and succulent, it absorbed all the tasty herbal soup. Wide spread of International buffet. There are lots of fresh seafoods such as yuppies, crabs, prawns, fish, oysters etc.. They are very fresh and I love the crab claws. They are quite big. Do try their herbal prawns soup. There are pasta sections whereby you can select the pasta you want, the sauce you prefer, spiciness etc. There are chinese cuisines as well. One thingi like about carousel is that they change their menu every month and they will update their menu on their website. Just this month I happened to scroll their website and saw their april menu, it totally made me salivate and I immediately went to make a reservation. Was here for lunch buffet with my friends on a 'Monday Blue'. A really great way to release my stress to see the wide spread and great varieries of food. Hehe.The first section i went was their sushi and sahimi counter. The sashimi was really fresh and delicious. And I was really surprised of the sushi that they served. It was nice! A very high class restaurant that offers buffet. Price is on the high end but do expect a wide range of seafood and dessert. The crayfish, oyster and sashimi made the whole meal worth it. The cakes, the puddings and the fruits made it even better. The service is fantastic. The staff clears the plate as soon as i’m done, making me every ready for more food. Paying $60 approx for a meal may be alot to ask for but it is a must to try once.

This is when the bf decided to treat me at carousel for lunch. I really really love the buffet spread for lunch there. After trying all kinds of meat, it was finally dessert time and this particularly caught my interest.its a creme brulee and i've NEVER tried it before so i decided to give it a try. It was my first visit at the Royal Plaza Carousel the weekend before and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide spread they served for the buffet. The seafood variety was good and plenty though not fresh. i brought my parents to carousel for a nice buffet. the spread was quite good, had quite a lot of varieties. as always, there will be the sashimi corner. i was dive to the raw salmon and oyster. very fresh! my favourite was the dessert section, gives you alot of creativity to express on the many desserts.

I went there for lunch with some of my colleagues. it's a halal buffet restaurant that offers international cuisine, a wide variety includes sushi, sashimi, cold seafood such as clayfish, prawn, salmon, mussel, scallop and etc, salad bar, chinese dishes, good western and chinese soups, dim sum, local delights and more They have an open kitchen which shows the customers how food is been prepared. Having lunch buffet with my clients at Royal Plaza. I was so tempted with all the desserts and pastries. Before stepping into Carousel, I saw many colourful macarons display at the entrance. After i went in to try on the buffet food, i noticed there are so many sauces that i seldom see at other buffet. It really have many choices of sauce to eat together with the meat. I like one of the tart which taste creamy with lychee inside the tart.

The buffet experience at Carousel was fantastic. There were varies type of choices, from Mediterranean, Japanese, Chinese, Western to many more delicious desserts. i love the Blue cheese with the digestive cookies especially. Overall it worth the money spent.
