The Claypot Rice is one of the first few stall when walking into the food court, and it is impossible to miss with its long queue. Went for an outing at Marina Square today. We decide to have lunch here. Had craving for claypot, but upon joining the queue realised that the hot plate dishes seems good judging from the people ordering.I had decided to go for the E-mee dish. For $5.30 we do get large meatballs - which I found to be very juicy and crunchy, vegetables, and pieces of chicken meat. The gravy a little salty, the noodle well cooked.One thing though carrying the hot plate looking for a seat was very tiring though.

Introducing “Gong Bao Chicken Claypot Rice”! this is one of the most creative claypot rice I had and it taste really good. I think the gong bao flavor adds a special something to the normal claypot chicken rice. The rice itself taste very fragrant, when you mix the rice with the chicken, it taste absolutely to die for. i went to marina square with my friends for dinner. We headed to the marina food loft for dinner. I ordered their kung bao claypot rice. the rice was very fragrant, you can totally smell the kung bao spices. The chicken was marinated well in the kung bao sauce, it was sweetish, sourish yet the meat was very tender and juicy. After the renovation of marina loft, I am so glad that the claypot stall is back. I simply love their hot plate curry chicken noodles. They served in so uniquely, till now I have not yet come across any place which sells the curry noodles in this style. They place the curry noodles in aluminium foil. I am back to eat my favourite claypot rice once again at marina square! It is a must to eat this whenever i am at the food court. It just tastes so delicious with the black sauce and all and the pieces of chicken in it. Yummy! The price has since increase to $5.50 now and i am feeling the pinch so i would not eat it as often as i want to. Maybe once in a while when the craving kicks in. Service was also good too!

it looked good when i was ordering it but by the time i took it to my table, there was a burning plastic smell which was giving off chemicals. it gave my husband a headache and he made me eat at another table coz the smell was making him sick! i have to agree with him. i have been banned from getting from this stall again. the claypot is still very hot and burning and they put it into this aluminium lined basket thing, which obviuosly is burning something at the bottom. i felt sick by the end of

This stall is my all time favourite claypot rice stall !!!! I haven been here for quite some time and i was shocked to see that they have increased their price to $5.50!!! It used to be $4 when i first patronised it and then it increased to $4.30 and now its already $5.50. But the portion still remains the same despite the increase in price. I have regular cravings for the claypot rice at Marina Food Loft. There's a queue most of the time. You can always expect generous portions of chicken and well-done claypot rice. Do remember to stir the rice and chicken once you lay down the tray on your table to avoid burnt rice! Somehow, I always manage to get nicely cooked rice that is crisy but not burnt!
