Grinny Gecko (已結業)

the waffle i ordered from grinny gecko is nice, the auntie even gave me the free peanut topping. the waffle is crispy and hotly made, and inside the waffle is soft and fluffy. i like the chocolate sauce as fillings and always order chooclate waffle but sometimes will have both the peanut butter and chocolate combination and it was great!! anyway waffle is just something i will eat for snack because my appetite is large!

Creamy potato salad ($1.5)My friend who is on diet always eat salad,and she recommend me the salad from Grinny Gecko.This is quite nice.But the potato is a bit too soft.I more prefer a harder potato as Astons'.But some people will prefer the soft one.It seem like lots of mayo cream,but it is a bit taste less.I still can accept it as i'm a fruit lover.No need mayo cream also can.Although it is not very nice,but it is very good for health.

Creamy potato salad ($1.5)Sudden craving for potato salad so i bought this at Grinny Gecko which i seldom went. The potato is cooked till soft and starchy, which i think is not too nice for potato salad. As the potato salad that i ate at Astons' is a lil' harder but nicer. The dressing which is mayo/sour cream is a bit tasteless and there is no pickles added, so not nice. Astons' serves much more nicer one.

It's lunch time and obviously all the canteen will be packed like sardine. Together with my group of friends, we went to McDonalds side in NYP to have our lunch. this is a bbq chicken rice set. this is actually one of my favourite rice set. the sad thing is, there is no more potato salad for that day I went to order. however i still decide to order this rice set. as they told me they will replace the potato salad with veggie. I was quite disappointed as the veggie is only very little. just a few slices of cucumber and lettuce. so i dont think it is worth it with the potato salad!

this is a Tuna meltz sandwich. its with one big piece of cheese. I like to eat cheese and tuna so It is also one of my favourite sandwiches. The sinful mayonaise, crispy and fresh lettuce were taste very nice with the mayonaise. It tastes perfectly with the toasted bread with butter spread. It is only $3.50 which is very worth it! perhaps they can put more lettuce for customers everytime

The YOGORT shop recently opened a new outlet in Grinning Gecko. Now I do not have to travel so far just to get my weekly dose of yogurt. I can get it from my school, anytime. What attracted me to the shop would definitely be the pricing and the way that the products were advertised. It is rather affordable and the taste is also very nice. Grinny Gecko now sells frozen yoghurt too. I was elated at first sight but delayed my first purchase. They serve in two different sizes, they call them standard and upsized, both priced at $2.50 and $3 respectively. They had honey dew and natural, but honestly I could not taste the difference between the two flavors. Froyo also came with one complimentary topping, I chose fruit loops.

Order fillet creamy pasta , a fish with some creamy mushroom sauce on it. The sauce got a very strong butter smell and the taste of the sauce is not very good as the butter smell is too strong and cant taste any other thing other than the butter ONLY. The fillet is served cold and this set itself cost me more than $2.50 and i feel that this dont worth it and not very nice food but service wise is alright very friendly staff. !!
