Jollibean (已結業)

The one thing i like at Jollibean is their Mee Jiang Kueh ($1.20). I always get the peanut flavoured one. They have a few stores conveniently located around Singapore so its not hard to satisfy my craving for these peanut pancakes.The mee jiang kueh is quite filling and thus is an affordable treat at $1.20 each. It has a slightly stickiness to it and filled with peanut bits, its really a nice combination.

Jollibean peanut pancake and a cup of soya bean cause $2.80. It is slightly higher their competitor but i think is worth the price. The size of the pancake is bigger and the soya bean drink taste nicer too, very thick soya smell and not very sweet which will be a more preferred choice within elderly. The peanut pancake costs $1.20 itself but I find the texture too thick and there is a very strong beany taste that cover the peanut taste! However, I still acceptable to my taste buds!

FoodCraving for mini pancakes from Jollibean and turned myself up in front of their stall as my mind was full of the yammy, sticky and gluey peanut in the pancake. Come in a box of 6 at S$2.40 for peanut flavour only. Peanuts filling has been very satisfiable for the night, however the kueh was a disappointment. I was feeling very hot and thirsty in the afternoon so I decided to get myself a nice, cool and refreshing soya milk from jollibean. The staff prepared it quite fast. When I took a sip, it was rather milky and creamy. the soya bean taste was rather strong. However, I was upset that it left an after taste in my throat. the soya milk was not very smooth as well. Was kind of disappointed and had to find my rather large cup.

It has been a long while since I saw the corn pancake. Some other outlets do not actually have this so when I saw this, I decided to get this instead of the multigrain cheese pancake.The corn pancake is more heavy on the pancake batter though. The filling is not entirely full of corns as I have imagined, which is why I said it is more heavy on the batter, since some of the batter is mixed with the corn filling. Soft silky smooth beancurd, slightly sweetened by the sugar syrup. The taste of the soy bean is very slight, and is great for a light snack. Quite healthy I believe, if you do not take too much of the sugar syrup. Costs $1.60 if I did not remember wrongly. There is usually not much of a crowd here, considering the many other food places available to disperse the crowd.
