I am in the area for lunch when I pass by this shop. It sells a variety of paus. There is black sesame pau, chicken / pork big pau ($1.80), braised pork pau, Amy Yi's Jumbo Pau($3.50) and Sured-Win Jumbo Pau, as well as, other dim sum items.Amy Yi's Jumbo Pau ($3.50)The pau is huge in size, much bigger than my fist. It is filled with egg, pork, chicken, mushroom, and chinese sausage. The skin of the pau is quite thick, but also quite soft too. The pau tastes quite salty and I could not finish it

Its been a while since i last had a amy yip big bao. Dad packet it home at $3.20 per bao. Was immediately amazed by its sheer size, putting it beside an average orange for comparison. The bao comes with lots of filling from lup cheong to meat to eggs to mushroom. Only part which i did not like is the skin is a little too thick but i guess it needed to whole the fillings in tact. Recommend that you heat it up before consuming. Anyway one of such bao can easily fill you up like a standard meal.

Took a bus to Changi Village today, walked past this shop and saw the gigantic pao in the glass steamer. According to the salesperson, this pao is called the “ye zi mei" pao. The FoodThis was my first time ordering this jumbo big pau. What caught my eye was none other than its SIZE. It was soooooooo huge. Bigger than my palm size or even face!! After opening the pau, the jumbo pau was filled with a lot of ingredients, as you can see from the picture. There were egg, meat and I love the juice of the meat in the jumbo pau. So nice!! A tad too huge for one to savour though. So it is good for sharing!The PricePretty pricey for a pau.

My parents bought home Bao from Changi village. They are well known for the super big bao call ye zi mei da bao. Ye zi mei Da bao (as of above picture) at $3+ (bigger than your fist, the size of X2 normal big bao), Vegetable Bao at $1+ at medium size, Chicken Bao medium size at $1+). All the bao taste really good, soft skin and fragrance fillings, meat are cooked and seasoned nicely. Value for money and very filling. Expect some queue too. yummy...
