Kuru Kuru Izakaya (已結業)

Though the unagi are realy tiny bits and shreds, the fried rice is really nice! The wok hei smell is there, when the waiter served it, I just could wait to eat it, I took up my utensils before remembering I had to take a picture, that's why for fork and spoon are placed in such a weird way hehe...The unagi yakimeshi is served with just the unagi, some fried egg, spring onions and i think, a little salted fish.

Had a go at their Shiitake Kushi, the skewer Shiitake mushroom, it was quite an interesting one compared to others outside. Their shiitake is of reasonable size but if you notice, they do sprinkle some salt grains on the shiitake so as to add to it's flavour. The smell of the mushroom was good too and it was not even burnt.

As the name Kuru Kuru Izakaya which could also mean come come homecooked food(in my own words) The restaurant is small with a bar counter and a Japanese chef cooking the food behind the counter, i was surprised the smoke or smell did not overpowered the enviroment as expected since i ordered different cooking types of food which were cooked on the spot upon ordering.The mentaiko spaggetti was cooked with generous portions of mentaiko and a bit salty for me but because of the generous portions of
