Had dinner here today. It was about 5:45pm, and the crowd was just starting to intensify. I ordered the $5 prawn mee soup. It came with a few slices of meat, prawn, some pork ribs and half an egg. the noodles was a mixture of rice noodles and egg noodles. Tastewise, it was excellent! the soup was robust and flavorful, the portion is reasonable to justify it's price in a shopping centre. Will definitely be back again!P.S. the soup can be refilled for free.

The first thing that I look for in a chendol is how artificial the ingredients are. For this, I don't see any fake nata de coco and those jelly stuff (which I really dislike). The jelly noodles also doesn't have too much food colouring. In fact I like this muted green sort of colour as compared to the bright green sort. There's also sweet peanuts inside and a whole lot of gula melaka. This combination is definitely my favourite! A thirst quencher and satisfy any sweet tooth definitely.

You have got to try it when you're here. The queue clears very very fast.

I like the red beans however i feel that it was abit too sweet. It would have been better if less coconut milk was put though as i do not really like coconut milk.

Malaysia Boleh was opened not long ago and it looks like a penang street, selling a range of penang food eg; hokkien mee and char kway tiao. The interior of the shop looks nice too, with small wooden tables and chairs. Decided to order a Claypot chicken rice at $5. The portion was just right and the rice was really nice! The chicken with sweet soya sauce was soft and tender, although it was quite salty, but it goes well with the rice!

I decided to try out this new place for dinner after lessons as I heard from my course mates that it sells very authentic Malaysia food. Went to get claypot rice because it has long queue (meaning it is good haha). This dish is very fregnant, smells really good and the chicken are yummy too. Personally, I feel that more chicken should be given for the price ($4.50).

Ordered a bowl of prawn noodles from Penang Jalan Cheong Fatt Tze stall for $3.50. The soup base is very thick, very tasty and very good which I felt it was better than the average prawn noodles. There were some prawn slices, some pork meat and a half hard-boiled egg. There was a short queue and it moved quickly. They cooked the noodles rather fast and so I received my order quickly. I will patronize this stall again

One plate of char kway tiao costs $4 which I felt that it was very reasonable considering that it is in a food court at a shopping mall. The char kway tiao was not oily and not sweet (no black and sweet sauce). There were plenty of beansprouts which gave it a more natural taste. The beansprouts were also fat and juicy and complemented the kway tiao well. Verdict: not bad. I will get it again.

I was assured of its authenticity when overhearing the cooks shouting instructions to one another in perfect Malaysian-accented Cantonese, and what's more, check out how different Singapore and Malaysia prawn noodles are!

Covered in sleek dark gooey gravy (sweet dark sauce, as I saw them drizzle a good amount into the wok) and eggy mixture, the thick noodles are very QQ to the bite and tasty. It was cooked on the spot and still very hot when I transported it to my table. The prawns were quite small and not juicy at all, quite a disappointment. Even so I prefer them to be this way than to be the overly-crunchy sort.

Overall, this is quite well-done but my personal preference is still inclined towards the Singapore version which is less sweet and more savoury instead.

Ordered this Pig Organs Soup with Noodle at one of the stalls and the food was really delicious. The noodle was tender and chewy, the taste was enhanced with the well-mixed black soya sauce on it. I pretty adore the environment of Malaysia Boleh as the place was decorated quite similarly to the surroundings in 80s and 90s. I also adore the utensils they have used as they are pretty uncommon now.

However, it was a pity that the serving of the Pig Organs is not sufficient for a food lover like me. The cost of the dish was about $3.50 which I think is pretty affordable to all. The stall was located right at the back of the place hence it's quite easy for people to locate it.

Claypot rice served in authentic claypot bowl. It was really fragrant, but the chicken pieces were rather little. The serving of the claypot rice is small as compared to other food court. Worth giving it a try.Fried mee tai mak which has a little bit too much black sauce. During dinner time, it is rather packed and hard to get seats. The interior of the food court is decorated in retro style and played oldies. A rather pricey food court with mediocre portion of food served.

Ever since i drank the bak kut teh from Malaysia Boleh, i have been craving for it non stop. their bak kut teh is somewhat different from the ones we have in Singapore. the soup is pretty dark in colour, the herb flavour is much more stronger. for those who do not fancy herb taste may find the taste a little overpowering. the meat is boiled till super tender, it is easily taken out from the bone. as a whole i found this one of the nicer ones i have ever eaten.

Cuttlefish kang kong, S$6.00 is the main dish for my dinner. Comes with a generous amount of sesame seeds with stripes of jelly fish on the top. The combination of sweet and sour taste from the sweet sauce and lime over the kang kong and cuttlefish. The kangkong is crunchy, moist and warm.

Service
Self service are observed and required from all stalls in Malaysia Boleh. Cleaning service was very prompt and up to speed, cleaners are very alert especially when customers left the table. As the Cuttlefish kang kong is sharing stall with the Char Kway Teow, they had given the main priority to the long queuing char kway teow stall and therefore even though there is no queue for cuttlefish kang kong, we have to wait quite long for that.

Ambience
The place is crowded as usual. Finding seats is always a issue there.

Price
Reasonably price.

Recommendation / Tips
The cendol is a must try.

The queues were rather long and it will take about 5-10mins before you can order and another 5-10mins for the food. For really popular stalls like the char kway teow stall, it can take up to 15mins before you can order. All the food are freshly made, upon ordering. Claypot rice has a relatively faster queue compared to the rest. We bought Claypot rice, wanton mee, prawn mee, char kway teow, fried oyster, chendol, and 4 cups of longan luo han guo! My favourites were claypot rice and char kway teow, and the luo han guo drink!! The longan luo han guo was worth it as it's only $1 for a metal cup and $2 for a larger cup and it felt really refreshing after eating the stir-fried foods. It’s sweet and has longans inside. The fried oyster tasted nice when it’s just freshly cooked but it has a long queue and quite expensive for a small portion. Wanton mee was pretty much normal and the prawn mee was more towards the spicy kind than the one we usually buy at food court or hawker centres!

We didn't spent too much money on the food per person as there were 4 of us! We paid only $7 each and it's relatively cheap compared to the amount of food we had!
