This is the 2nd time i visited this place for lunch. Think they had refurbished the place but still , doesnt seem to have extra seats as it was still crowded during lunch time. Fried Thai Tang Hoon - Quite a big serving. Fried with seafood, the tang hoon was quite spongy and tasted quite well Seafood Tom Yam Soup - Not much of seafood. Mostly fishballs, crab meat stick and 2 prawns. However, the soup is very nice and fragrant. I guess i cant expect much as it only cost me $5.

Went there with a colleague for cheap lunch and decided to go for Thai food. To be honest, the Thai factor is lacking in the food, it tastes pretty much like zi char to me. Crispy Noodles with seafood - the sauce was bland and unappetizing, it couldn't bring out the flavour of the noodles. The only saving grace was that the prawns were fresh. Minced Chicken with basil leaves. Surprisingly this dish didn't taste that bad. The minced chicken was tender and well marinated with flavour of the basil.

As I already had my lunch, when I accompanied my girlfriend to this thai shop, I only ordered their tom yum soup. their menu all have set meal which is a main course and rice, they do not solely have just ala carte stuff. So I paid the same price for their tom yum soup as the one with rice. Their tom yum soup was not too bad, it had quite a lot of ingredient inside. I was surprised to find fish ball inside as well. It was pretty soup but not too spicy. The prawns were pretty fresh as well.

I was craving for thai food so the best place to get it when you are in town is the thai food stall at far east basement. I ordered their basil chicken rice. The portion of the basil chicken was quite a lot. They minced the chicken very finely till every bit of the chicken is coated and soaked well with the gravy. This place is so awesome such that i go back to this place everyday and i am greeted by the same friendly staff. I think that even after i try other thai food, this place draws me to come back and enjoy the awesome tastes of it.I tried the fish tom yam soup with rice. Now this is simple but this tastes awesome! So it is all good! I will as usual add chili padi to my soup to ensure that my face sweats and turns red! My colleague also tries out his favorite dish which is the green curry with rice.

had my lunch at this outlet. Located quite deep into the building on the basement, i am quite surprised that it was crowded. Thai Red Chicken CurryServed with white rice, The Thai red chicken curry is not too spicy and it comes with a bit of sweetness. it's lunch time! been passing by this place and decided to try it out.. well, it doesn't turn out to be that fantastic. the basil chicken is not spicy but salty. i guess upon ordering got to inform them to make it spicier. the rice is slightly sticky, guess too much water has been added upon cooking the rice. they have a separated chilli sauce which is thai chilli sauce to go with the fried egg. AWESOME!! however, after all if i were to go back and eat, will try the tom yum soup.

I went to enjoy thai with a couple of friends after one of my friends said the thai food there tasted really good. the price was pretty reasonable for some place located in town. I ordered their pineapple rice. it has a lot of chicken floss on top of the rice. the floss was very fragrant, it enhances the flavor of the rice. there was not a lot of pineapples in the rice though, which was too bad. However the prawns they added to the dish is really fresh and succulent.
