I have always wanted to try Pies & Coffee whenever I pass by the cafe to Starbucks. It is located at Rochester Mall, one street across from The Star Vista, about 5 minutes walk from Buona Vista MRT station. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor sitting. I sat at the outdoor area as it seem more airy and true enough, I can feel a constant wind blowing through and it makes a great spot for chillaxing. This fusion of a classic singaporean dish and a western shepards pie is a fun and definitely unique eat that one needs to try. It is not very often we come across a laksia shepards pie and boy it was really good! The ingredients inside the pie includes prawns and mussels and fish. Love the softness of the potato mixed with the laksa sauce that creates a whole different taste in your mouth.

It's a fact: Singapore does not understand the concept of pie. Time and time again, my hopes are raised when I see the word "pie" on a menu, only to be dropped 200 feet from above. I only know about this place when I was around Rochester Mall. This restaurant is located in the middle of Rochester Mall which you can't miss it. Instead of having the potato inside the pie, here you get a scoop of mashed potatoes on top of your pie!
