Buying a waffle after walking around at Toa Payoh Central. I can feel the Chinese New Year atmosphere everywhere. Many shops started to selling biscuits, decoration and things related to the festival.Good-looking of the Waffle, a bit golden with the Pandan flavoured Waffle's skin. Best eaten while it was still hot. It seems a little too thick, but in fact the Waffle was soft and the peanut butter was delicious. It costed $1.60 for each Waffle with any flavour.

Last day working here, Apple bought Hokkaido cakes for us. It seems to be popping up everywhere these recent years.I treated it as tea-break. Decent and pretty packing, maybe the combination of yellow golden puff and the blue paper box.Very soft cake with creamy vanilla inside. The cake was so light, gulity-free when you consumed it, but actually its quite fattening I guessed. Overall, its taste snowly and full of vanilla aroma. I like it very much.

Happen to pass by Toa Payoh area to catch my favourite Batman movie and decided to have a simple snack after the show. This polar puffs outlet may look small but it is quite comfortable sitting inside the small cute comfortable area in it. Have tried their mango slice cakes and was quite impressed with it. Bought this Chicken Pie after hanging around with friend. First time trying their pie, I found it not bad. The fillings are hearty with chicken, potato cubes, other veg and hardboiled egg. The pie was light and buttery, it was nice. It's not very spicy. The thin crust was crisp and flaky at the top. Overall, the pie was nice.

Attracted by how nice the sugar roll looks, especially this pandan kiwi swiss roll, I just could not resist the temptation to have one. I have always liked how vibrant it looks compared to the original swiss roll and the strawberry one, although all pinky looks quite nice too. I do not think they will taste as tangy and sweet as the pandan kiwi one.

polar has never failed to brighten up my day. the puffs and pastries are indeed baked with plenty of effort from their pastries chef. every bite and you can taste the different layer of skills that test how good the chef is.one thing about them is they are very generous with their ingredient, from tuna puffs to sausage rolls. they will add a lot of the required ingredients to make it genuinely delicious. i like their pizza bread, love the cheesy topping on top. the pastry is also very crispy. yu

We went to the HDB Hub for our flat selection in the morning at 8.30am. We took our queue number and we noticed that there is a lot of people there. We waited till 10am and were very hungry and thirsty. I asked my hubby to buy some bread or cake for me. He went to polar and bought some swiss rolls and hot milo for me. I always like the swiss roll with no sugar topping. Price are reasonable and the taste is good with a soft spongy texture.
